The architectural complex of the Kolomna Kremlin is the most important historical and cultural monument of Kolomna, which was formed in the XIV - XIX centuries. Kolomna Kremlin is surrounded by fragments of the fortress wall and preserved towers.
Currently, 7 Kremlin towers have been preserved, of which the more significant are Marinkina, Granovitaya and Pyatnitskaya passage.
On the territory of the Kremlin there is Cathedral Square, the architectural appearance of which is the Assumption Cathedral, built by decree of Dmitry Donskoy, the tent bell tower (XVII century) – the most powerful bell tower of this type in the Moscow region.
Among the most ancient buildings of the Kolomna Kremlin are the Church of the Resurrection adjacent to Cathedral Square (14th – 19th centuries), where Prince Dmitry Donskoy and Evdokia of Suzdal were married in 1366, and the Church of Nikola Gostiny (1501), one of the first brick churches in Russia.

The monument to S.A.Yesenin is the main and largest monument to the famous countryman located in Ryazan.
The saying "We have mushrooms with eyes in Ryazan, they are eaten, they look" (during the Tatar-Mongol invasion, mushrooms were an indicator of where the Mongols raced on their horses) is dedicated to the original sculptural composition "Mushrooms with eyes in Ryazan".

On the south-western side of the Kremlin hill there is an ancient earthen rampart, a defensive structure of the XIII-XVII centuries.

The territory of the Cathedral Park is connected to the Kremlin by the Glebovsky Bridge, which successfully performed military defense functions in the 15th century.
During sieges, the bridge rose to the walls, thereby blocking the way of the attackers.
In the western part of the Cathedral Park there is the Church of the Savior on Yaru, which offers a wonderful view of the water meadows. The elegant five-domed church is deservedly considered one of the best in Ryazan, and is also the oldest functioning temple in the city.

Moving to the village of Konstantinovo, the birthplace of the great Russian poet of the Ryazan Nightingale, Sergei Yesenin.
The village of Konstantinovo, located on the steep bank of the Oka River, is famous for the fact that the famous Russian poet Sergei Alexandrovich Yesenin was born here on October 3, 1895.
His childhood and youth were spent in Konstantinovo.

The tour was wonderfully organized. Anton, our guide, and Victor, our driver, were true professionals — attentive and caring toward the group. The hotels were comfortable, and the food throughout the tour was excellent👍 The only minor issue was that I would have appreciated receiving all the departure details (like the voucher) a bit earlier — it caused some unnecessary stress beforehand. Overall, an excellent experience!
