Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Vladikavkaz. A tour of the historical part of Vladikavkaz. Transfer to the Alanya National Park. Ahsinta Canyon. Madzaska Meadow
Arrival at the airport or at the Vladikavkaz railway station before 13:00.
Group transfer at 13:30 to the capital of North Ossetia.
Upon request, it is possible to arrange a transfer from Vladikavkaz railway station (with the arrival of trains before 12:00).
Gathering a group, getting to know the guide.
Lunch at a local cafe with dishes of national cuisine (for an additional fee).
A short walking tour of the historical part of Vladikavkaz, located on the banks of the Terek River.
In the company of a guide, you will walk through the city center, where there are more than 70 historical and architectural monuments of the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the Art Nouveau style.
During the walk you will see the preserved houses where Ye lived more than a hundred years ago. Vakhtangov, M. Bulgakov.
The Armenian Church, the German Lutheran Church, Sunni and Shiite mosques, two Orthodox churches, including the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose history begins in 1814-1815, have survived to this day.
Departure to the Alania National Park, located on the northern slope of the Central Caucasus mountain range.
Among the untouched picturesque nature of the national park there are glaciers, mineral springs, waterfalls, alpine lakes and even swamps.
Continuing the way to the Digory Gorge, you will stop at the grand canyon Ahsinta.
It is at this point that the canyon narrows so much that it turns into a stone trough and you can see how the Urukh River beats among the rocks at a depth of seventy meters.
At sunset, stop at the clearing The Madzaska, which overlooks the business card of the Digory gorge — the waterfall "Three Sisters".
You will have a walk to the bridge over the river Hares.
The diversity of Digoria's nature is amazing, and the most spectacular photos are usually taken at sunset.

Day 2 - Car-walking tour to the cradle of Alanya with a visit to the unique villages of ancient Ossetia
After breakfast, meet with the guide.
Today is a big sightseeing day with a visit to the unique villages of ancient Ossetia: Makhchesk, Fasnal, Dunta, Kamunta and Galiat.
During the tour, it will be interesting to learn that electricity and sewerage appeared in the village of Fasnal even before the October Revolution.
To see the tower burials with a unique shape.
In the mountainous village of Kamunta, you will stroll through the medieval streets, explore the authentic architecture.
Take a walk to the observation deck (at a height of 2000 meters), to the site of the Yeliatae women's sanctuary, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the gorge.
The tour will continue with an inspection of the relief tombstones of S. Dunta.
A colorful complex of 7 tombstones, called tsyrty, is located on the banks of the Songutidon River.
The guide will tell the story of ancient tombstones, some of which have well-preserved images of people and drawings.
In the mountains of Ossetia there are not only monuments of the past, the guide will show the contribution of modern artists and one of the art objects "Khisyn Fandyr" dedicated to the national Ossetian musical instrument.
During the trip, the guide will treat you to tea from local herbal collections.
The visit to the village of Galiat, located in the Uallagkom gorge, will end.
Typical Ossetian towers, consisting of four floors, have also been preserved in Galiat.
There are many ancient religious monuments in the district, including petroglyphs.
If desired, you will climb to the sanctuary of Avd dzuar (7 angels), from where the whole beauty of the Digor Gorge will open from a dizzying steep.
On the way back, the guide will take you to an Ossetian family, where the hospitable hosts will treat you to lunch with homemade Ossetian pies, tea on herbs collected in the mountains, and national cuisine.
During the meeting, you will learn about the lifestyle and customs of the locals.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3 - Walks to Digoria Waterfalls
After breakfast, meet with the guide in the hotel lobby.
Today you will have vivid impressions and active walks along the paths of the national park "Alanya".
You will go along the eco-trail to the Hares gorge, to the waterfall "Galdoridon" (Pearl) (6-8 km in both directions).
Part of the route will pass by blooming primroses with views of the most beautiful gorge.
During the walk, the guide will tell you about the flora and fauna of these protected areas.
Along the route, employees of the Alania National Park have equipped 10 observation points, an information sign is installed near each, and there are convenient benches.
One of these viewing points will be at the Devil's Mill Canyon, where you will not only relax, but also take spectacular photos.
About 200 endemic species of the Caucasus can be found here, among them there are those that are found only in North Ossetia.
A walk along the blooming path will be a great pleasure, there is a lot of fragrant willow tea growing here.
During the walk you will be able to collect herbs, learn about the beneficial properties.
The route will end at a five-cascade waterfall falling from a height of 35 meters into a crevice surrounded by rocks formed from black shales.
After a rest and a photo shoot at the waterfalls, lunch in nature (dry ration) You will be on your way back.
Return to the hotel, rest.
After the rest, the guide will offer an easy walk in the Bayradi tract along the eco-trail to the magnificent Bayradi waterfall.
The picturesque observation deck offers majestic views of a significant part of the Digor Gorge.
Return to the hotel.

Day 4 - A journey through the medieval Ossetian villages of Khanaz and Zadalesk. Departure

Departure for the final tour of North Ossetia.
Today you will embark on a journey through the medieval Ossetian villages of Khanaz and Zadalesk.
The village of Khanaz is famous for the castle of the Tsallaev family, which is called "Frigate", the guide will invite you to take a walk to the castle.
This unique example of medieval mountain architecture dates back to the 14th and 16th centuries.
Listening to the guide's stories about the ancient history of this land, you will stop at the medieval settlement of Zadalesk, where you will visit the museum of the mother savior of the Alan children – Zadaleski Nana.
If possible, the guide will guide the groups to the main active sanctuary of these places — dzuar Digori Izad (Digoria's Angel).
