We will walk through the parks and terrencures of the resorts, visit the springs with mineral waters and plunge into the atmosphere of the cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters.

We will climb to the highest point of the KMV along the most gentle route among the forests, we will conquer Beshtau, Mashuk, Zheleznaya, Camel, Small and Large Saddle, and in good weather we will see Elbrus from the mountains.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Pyatigorsk. Tsvetnik Park Walk
Arrival in Mineralnye Vody.
Transfer to the city of Pyatigorsk.
A walk through the Tsvetnik Park with a tour of the main attractions: Lermontov Gallery, Chinese Gazebo, Aeolian Harp, Lake Failure, Gate of Love.
Ascent to Mount Mashuk by cable car (extra charge).
Descent along the path of health.
Lunch at a cafe.
You will also be invited to make a sweet tasting of Pyatigorsk ice cream — the KMV brand.
Transfer to the hotel.
Free time and rest.
The track length is 5.6 km.
Climbing with feet — 150 m, dropping — 350 m.
The duration of the tour is 5-6 hours.

Day 2 - Kislovodsk Park Walking Tour
We are waiting for a walking tour of the Kislovodsk Park.
Kislovodsk Park is the largest among the parks of the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
We will devote two days to him.
On the first day, we will climb to the peaks of Bolshoe and Maloe Sedlo.
Along the way, we will explore the main attractions of the green zone: the Valley of Roses, the Temple of the Air, the gazebo of the Seven Winds, the Red Sun Mountain.
There is a view of Elbrus from the top of the Big Saddle.
Let's not linger on the climb — the sooner we climb, the more likely it is to see the snow giant Elbrus.
Lunch-picnic on the route.
We'll take the cable car down.
We offer indefatigable travelers a walk through the resort area of Kislovodsk in the late afternoon with a visit to the drinking gallery.
The track length is 14.5 km.
The height gain is 600 m.
The duration of the tour is 8-9 hours.

Day 3 - Zheleznovodsk
Another city in our collection is Zheleznovodsk.
Here we will find a resort park with its farthest and most secret trails, a cave of primitive man in Saltpeter Rocks, a grotto of permafrost and a mysterious tunnel in Razvalka Mountain, a climb to Zheleznaya Mountain at sunset.
We will also see the Emir of Bukhara's palace and visit the souvenir shop.
The track length is 18 km.
The height gain is 390 m.
The duration of the tour is 7-8 hours.

Day 4 - Big and Small Tau
The highest point of the Caucasian Mineral Waters is Mount Beshtau.
It has two peaks: Big and Small Tau.
We saved the highest point of the CMS on the fourth day of our trip.
The ascent will follow the most gentle route among the woodlands.
And it starts from the railway station of the same name — Beshtau in the city of Zheleznovodsk.
Be sure to bring water with you on the route.
There will be only one spring on the rise.
From the top there is a panorama of the KMV and the Laccolith mountains, and in good weather Elbrus is also visible.
The track length is 11 km.
The height gain is 800 m.
The duration of the tour is 8-9 hours.

Day 5 - Camel Mountain light walk. Essentuki
It's not a difficult day, during which you will have a light walk to the top of one of the most remote laccoliths - Mount Camel, located in the village of Novobrazarnoye.
Like Beshtau, it has two peaks.
We need the flattest and widest one.
It offers a stunning view of Pyatigorsk.
All the laccolith mountains are visible in the palm of your hand.
The track length is 4 km.
The height gain is 350 m.
The duration of the tour is 4-5 hours.
On the way back, we will stop in Yessentuki, walk along the paths of the resort park, admire the mud clinic and admire the museum of mechanotherapy.
Finally, we will raise a glass of medicinal Essentuki-17 in the equipped pump room.

Day 6 - "Castle of Guile and Love", Honey Waterfalls
On this day we are just walking along the picturesque little river Alikonovka.
We admire the architecture of the "Castle of Cunning and Love" and the beauty of Honey Waterfalls.
And on the way back, we freeze with delight from the top of Koltso Mountain — a panorama of the whole of Kislovodsk opens from here.
The track length is 11 km.
The height gain is 200 m.
The duration of the tour is 6-7 hours.

Day 7 - Kislovodsk Resort Park. Departure
Once again, the resort park of Kislovodsk awaits us.
We will explore another part of this truly gigantic park, walk along scenic trails and visit the Owner of the cave.
The track length is 10 km.
The height gain is 200 m.
The duration of the tour is 4-5 hours.
A car will be waiting for us at the end of the route.
He will take Mineralnye Vody to the airport.
We will be there around 16:00.

I’m incredibly grateful to the tour operator Big Country for organizing my hike to the Dzitaku Lakes. I really appreciated how quickly the managers responded to all my questions, and how clearly and professionally they prepared the full set of documents. From start to finish, the managers stayed in touch and supported me throughout the entire journey. Since there wasn’t a group available for the original tour, the company slightly adjusted my route and joined me with another group heading to the Bzerpinsky Ledge.
