Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know Altai. The Chuisky tract. The Katun River. Patmos Island
09.00-09.30 Meeting of the group at the airport of Gorno-Altaisk. We recommend a flight to this city.
We can also meet you:
05.00 In Novosibirsk (Vokzalnaya magistral-1, Marins Park Hotel);
08.30 Near Barnaul, Sea Buckthorn Group.(Novoaltaysk, Dorozhnaya street-13).
The transfer will take place along the highway – Chuisky tract (included in the list of the 10 most beautiful roads in the world), today we will get acquainted with only a small historical part of it.
Check-in to cozy rooms, a short rest after the flight.
In the afternoon, a walk to the island awaits you. Patmos and Chemalskaya HPP.
A tour of the picturesque island of Patmos and the Chemalskaya HPP.
You will walk across the suspension bridge to the chapel located on the island, right in the middle of the mountain river.
Next, follow the goat trail to the oldest hydroelectric power plant in Russia in the 30s, the trail runs along the edge of the mountain with a magnificent view of Katun.
Supper.
An evening of acquaintances by the fireplace.
Accommodation: campsite, double, room amenities (possibly triple and quadruple, by agreement).

Day 2 - Blue lakes "Eyes of Katun". Bison Reserve
Breakfast with a view of the snow-covered Christmas trees.
A walk on the ice of Katun to the blue lakes, which received the poetic name of the Eyes of Katun.
Indeed, if you look from above at the lakes and the Katun River flowing nearby, then the lakes are very similar to the eyes.
The bravest can swim in the clear blue water (t +9 degrees), there is a sauna nearby.
Next, we will go to the Bison Sanctuary, where 48 bison live (this animal species is on the verge of extinction).
You will be able to see these majestic animals and treat them to apples.
Lunch at the cafe (extra charge).
Also, we will try to stop by the reindeer and husky kennel, where for an additional fee (750 rubles for admission) You will be able to take amazing pictures with these animals.
At the end of the day, we will visit the Big Tavdinsky Cave, where ancient people lived in the Neolithic era.
Dinner by the hearth, hot mulled wine.

Day 3 - The Gorge of spirits. Askat village of craftsmen
Breakfast.
A tour of the gorge of mountain spirits is a cult place of the Altaians, named after such an ancient name that scientists cannot decipher its meaning, it is a place of power.
In the gorge we will visit the stream of health, a frozen waterfall, an observation deck with stunning views of the Katun River valley.
Lunch (extra charge).
At the end of the day, we will take a walk through the village of Askat craftsmen, which is known for its artisans and unusual residents.
There we will get acquainted with various types of creativity, learn how to play ethnic instruments and even create our own ethnic group.
Dinner and evening communication at the base.
Accommodation: campsite, double room, shower and toilet in the room.
Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Excursions: 1. Gorge of mountain spirits; 2. Village of Askat masters.
The length of the route by car is 96 km, on foot – 8 km.
Day 4 - Kamyshlinsky waterfall. Visit to the GLK "Manzherok"
Breakfast.
Today we will have an excursion through the charming cedar forest to the frozen blue waterfall – Kamyshlinsky.
Lunch at the cafe (extra charge).
Next, a trip to the GLK "Manzherok", where you can go skiing, snowboarding, tubing.
If you don't like skiing, then you can take an excursion up the mountain in a gondola lift closed from the wind.
Also, the complex has a large number of cafes, restaurants and all kinds of entertainment for guests of the resort.
Return trip.
Dinner by the warm hearth.
Accommodation: campsite, double room, shower and toilet in the room.
Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Excursions: 1. Kamyshlinsky waterfall; recreation at the Manzherok GLK (resort services are paid additionally).

Day 5 - Teletskoye Lake. Ethnographic exclusion in the Village
Early breakfast.
Collecting things, handing over rooms.
Today we will make a transfer to Lake Teletskoye (180 km).
On the way, we will make a stop near the picturesque Altai village, where you will get acquainted with the peculiarities of the culture of the Altai people and taste local dishes.
Lunch in Gorno-Altaisk (extra charge).
Next, our path will pass along the charming Biya River.
Sunset meeting with a view of Lake Teletskoye from the Tilan Tuu observation deck.
Check-in at the campsite.
Supper.
Bathhouse.

Excursions: Ethnographic tour.

Day 6 - Teletskiy Ski resort. Snowmobiling on the ice of Lake Teletskoye
Breakfast.
Today we will go on an unusual route to the highest mountain of the northern coast – Kokuya. It is there that the new Teletskiy ski resort is located.
You can go skiing, snowboarding, and try tubing slopes. The trails are suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. Ski passes and equipment rental are paid additionally.
In the afternoon, those who wish can ride snowmobiles on the ice of Lake Teletskoye (extra charge).
Return to the base.
Supper.

The length of the route: by car – 20 km, on foot – 3 km.

Day 7 - Waterfalls of the Third river. Souvenir markets. Return transfer
08:00-09:30 Breakfast, packing, check out of the rooms.
09:30-10:30 Walk to the waterfalls of the third river through the forest.
10:30-11:00 Arrival at the souvenir market.
11:00-14:30 Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk.
14:30-15:30 Lunch at the cafe (extra charge).

Option 1. If you are staying overnight in Gorno-Altaisk.
15:30-15:40 Transfer to the Igman Hotel, where we recommend you to stay (payment for accommodation is on your own).

Option 2. If you are traveling to the city of Barnaul.
15:40-19:40 Transfer Gorno-Altaysk – Hotel complex "Sea Buckthorn" (Novoaltaysk, Dorozhnaya str. -13).

Please note that the transfer is a pass-through and does not enter the city of Barnaul itself!
The end point of the route is a 1-hour drive to Barnaul airport, from the hotel complex "Sea Buckthorn" you can order a taxi to the airport or to the railway station of Barnaul.
Option 3. If you are traveling to the city of Novosibirsk.
15:40-23:30 Transfer to Novosibirsk.
The tour ends at the address – Novosibirsk, Lenin street-84, opposite the railway station.
We recommend that you stay overnight at the Marins Park Hotel or the Park Inn Radisson Hotel.

It's important to know

Shoes: comfortable boots /valenki / ugg boots/boots for excursions. Warm slippers, closed (to walk around the room in them). The banquet hall allows you to wear shoes to a special event (but this is not an obligatory item of clothing);
Outerwear: ski suit (if not, then you can replace it with trousers on a synthetic pad and an unsold jacket), warm hat, scarf and balaclava (perfect for horseback riding), ski gloves, or other warm mittens / gloves;
Clothing: a sintepon vest, a warm sweater, thermal underwear (can be replaced with a warm tracksuit), wool socks, just socks;
Formal wear: formal wear, or a themed costume are welcome! The banquet hall allows you to put on a dress and shoes.
Personal hygiene items, a towel, an individual first aid kit.
A gift for any randomly selected participant of the event. The gift is chosen at your discretion.
For those who plan to visit the ski resort – downhill skis, or snowboard, boots, glasses, gloves (if available). Also, you can rent all this at the ski campsite.
Regarding alcohol (for whom it is relevant) – there will be only champagne at the banquet dinner. You can take alcohol with you.
