Itinerary

Day 1 - Group meeting, ethnomusic excursion
Group meeting at the airport in Gorno-Altaisk city.
Breakfast.
Today you will become an honored guest in the village of Askat craftsmen.
This place has a special creative atmosphere and even the people here are special.
This place attracts creative people from all over Russia.
Here we will visit the Strela Gallery, where an interesting excursion will be awaiting us and even more we will take part in a concert as musicians playing unique instruments.
Dating evening and overnight at the beautiful Woodpark eco-hotel.
We will see: Chemalsky tract, medicinal pine forests, Katun, village of Askat masters, Strela gallery, ethnomusical excursion.
Meals included: breakfast at the restaurant, lunch at the Chemalka hotel, dinner at the hotel.
Transfer: Toyota Land Cruiser.
Distance: 130 km. by car, 3 km on foot.
Day 2 - Helicopter flight over the Katun river. Quad bike Safari
Visiting the professional luxury spa complex with a steam room “Vosporenie” in the first part of the day.
It’ll be a day of adventures and activities - a real helicopter flight over the Katun river and majestic mountain ridges.

But that's not all, we will see one of the most spectacular and popular bridges of Altai - the Oroktoy bridge.
This is a very powerful atmospheric place where you can walk across the bridge, take spectacular photos and admire the stormy Katun.
We will see: Elandinsky rapids, Oroktoy bridge, helicopter ride, quad bike trip to Krestovaya.

Day 3 - Chuisky tract, Chuya and Katun rivers
Today you will ride along the most beautiful and significant road of Altai - the Chuisky tract.
The track is considered one of the most spectacular in all over Russia and is one of the five most beautiful roads in the world according to National Geographic magazine.

Lunch with farm organic products, prepared especially for us.
The Seminsky Pass, Chike-Taman, the confluence of the Chuya and Katun rivers, the Kalbak-Tash sanctuary, majestic boms, mountain rivers and the Katun terraces are waiting for you along the way.
In the evening, upon arrival in the village. Aktash locals will await you with a solemn Kazakh ceremony of welcoming guests, acquaintance with the national dwelling - a yurt, as well as beshbarmak with baursaks and chak-chak.
We will see: The Chuysky Tract, the Seminsky and Chike-Taman passes, the confluence of the Chuya and Katun, the Katun terraces, the White Bom, Kur-Kechu, the old Chuysky tract, the monument to Kolka Snegirev, the ancient Kalbak-Tash sanctuary.

Day 4 - Geyser lake (Aktash) and Altai Mars
True nature’s miracle awaits you - Geyser Lake.
We will visit it early in the morning, when there are almost no visitors, so that you get the maximum pleasure from observing the most popular and photogenic lake.
Your adventures won’t end there - you will also visit Mars.
You will see how this fantastic place resembles the red planet.
Here you get breathtaking photos, because you’ll want to capture every centimeter of this unique landscape.
A full-fledged picnic lunch on the river bank, the Chui steppe and the bomb of our tour - Zhalgyz Tobe.
We will see: Geyser lake, view point on the North-Chuysky ridge, Kurai steppe, Kuektanar metal-smelting furnaces, Chuya, Mars-1, Mars-2, Chui steppe, Zhalgyz Tobe.

Day 5 - Jeep Safari Adventure
Today we are going to reach an ascent to a height of more than 2500 m and the Lake of Mountain Spirits.

The panorama from such an incredible height is breathtaking and we will surely have a picnic with these views on the mountains.
We will visit Lake of Mountain Spirits and look out at the Chuya meanders.
In the evening, you will enjoy a throat singing concert from eminent kaichi masters.

Day 6 - Canyon Wolf's mouth, Emile High Plateau. Yuzhno-Chuysky Ridge
We continue getting full of the new places energy!
Next in line is our journey through the breathtaking Emile high-altitude plateau to the Akkol milk lake.
Here, among the high snow-covered ridges you will feel the true beauty and solitude.
Stunning views will daze you and awake real delight and jubilation in your hearts.
You will enjoy dinner at the end of the day by the fire under the stars.
We will see: Wolf's Mouth Canyon, Emile High Plateau, Yuzhno-Chuysky Ridge, Taldurinsky Abyss.

Distance: about 280 km by car.

Day 7 - The road back
Today we will go on a leisurely path to the cozy complex "Berendeevka Village".

The tour involves double accommodation in cozy comfortable rooms Woodpark, Ethnohouse YURTA and a comfortable hotel near Gorno-Altaysk.

Even if you pack things in a suitcase, take a backpack with you, it will definitely come in handy.

Therefore, essentials should always be with you, because sometimes you won’t find a place to buy it from miles away. If you need some special brand of cosmetics or some rare drugs, we recommend bringing them with you. We also advise you not to take a lot of things to not overpay for luggage. Trust us, you don’t need a lot of clothes on an active journey.
