Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Gorno-Altaysk. The legendary Chuisky tract
Meeting at the bus station from 08:30 to 09:00.
Meeting at the airport in Gorno-Altaysk from 9:30 to 10:00.
Getting to know the band.
An exciting tour of the Legendary Chuisky Tract along the main highway of Gorny Altai awaits you.
The Chuisky Tract is a road of legends and myths that will become your guide to the world of amazing discoveries.
Here, every turn is a new picture, every kilometer is a new story!
Seminsky Pass will greet you with majestic cedars and, possibly, snow-capped peaks.
Chike Taman Pass is a true masterpiece of nature!
We will climb the serpentine to two observation decks, from where we can enjoy breathtaking views of the eastern slopes of the Terektinsky ridge.
You will see what the ancient Chuya highway looked like, along which caravans once passed.
The Katuni Valley is a real pearl of Altai!
We will drive along the picturesque "Katun loop", where the mountain river, as if dancing, meanders among the majestic rocks of the Small Yaloman.
Let's reveal the secrets of the formation of the ancient "Katun terraces".
The sacred place is the mouth of the Chuya River!
Two mighty rivers meet in a passionate dance, their waters flow side by side without mixing, creating an amazing natural phenomenon.
This is a place where nature works wonders!
Impressions of the day: Seminsky pass; Chike-Taman pass; "Yalomanskaya Arc"; the place of power is the confluence of the Chuya and Katuni rivers; "Katun terraces"; old Chuisky tract; monument to Kolka Snegirev.

Day 2 - Altai Mars and Blue Lake
Breakfast — and we're off on the most mysterious journey!
Today we are waiting for a mysterious land where nature has created landscapes that seem to have descended from the canvases of fantastic worlds, similar to the exotic landscapes of distant Mongolia.
The Kurai steppe will greet us with a majestic sight — the grandiose glaciers of the North Chuisky Range, the largest in Central Asia!
Here, among the vast expanses, you will feel like a tiny grain of sand in the ocean of natural power.
A space adventure awaits us in the valley of the Kyzyl-Chin River!
We transfer to UAZ all-terrain vehicles * and embark on a journey through the "Altai Mars".
Imagine: the red, orange, and purple hues of the rocks create a landscape that looks like it came from photographs of distant planets.
No wonder the locals call this place the "Red Gorge" — a breathtaking sight!
The blue oasis awaits us after lunch!
A mysterious lake on the Mena River will reveal its secrets.
Underground springs work wonders — they paint bizarre patterns of blue-white clay on the bottom, creating unique paintings that change every day!
What masterpieces of nature will we see today? Return to the cozy campsite, where you will have time to immerse yourself in your impressions and share your emotions with new friends.
And if there is still a lot of energy left, then you can go for an evening horse ride (extra charge, starting from 2500 per hour) or just evening gatherings around the campfire.
Impressions of the day: Geyser Lake; Kuraiskaya and Chuiskaya steppe; Severo-Chuisky ridge; "Altai Mars". Difficulty of the day: 170 km by car, including moving to UAZ-loaf 40 km dirt road.
*The use of this vehicle is mandatory for visiting this location, as conventional vehicles will not be able to overcome the difficult terrain. During the high season, it is possible to increase the waiting time for transport.

Day 3 - The Land of a thousand Lakes
Today we are waiting for a breathtaking adventure — the legendary Katu-Yaryk pass!
Are you ready to plunge into the world of stunning landscapes, ancient mysteries and breathtaking views?
Our journey will be filled with amazing discoveries and unforgettable stops!
The Red Gate is the first miracle on our way!
This artificially created passage in the rock is a real symbol of the Ulagan district, striking with its power and beauty.
The high—altitude lakes of the Ulagan plateau are a real fairy tale!
Here you will see:
mysterious Cheyback Kel — Dead Lake;
Emerald miracle — turquoise Lake;
a grand elongated Uzun-Kel;
majestic Kidelu-Kel, visible from the highest paved mountain pass.
The secrets of antiquity will be revealed to you in the Pazyryk mounds, the ancient necropolis of the Scythians!
You will learn amazing stories about those who rest here and about the priceless artifacts stored in the Hermitage.
The main gem of the day is the viewing platforms of the Katu—Yaryk pass!
The first playground is a test for the brave!
Here, standing above the abyss, you will see the mysterious Kaya Bazhi waterfall disappearing underground, and the entire Chulyshman Valley in full view.
The second platform is a place where the breathtaking view of the dizzying descent from the pass takes your breath away.

Day 4 - Completion of the program. See you later, Altai
The final day of our trip will be filled with vivid impressions and unforgettable discoveries!
We don't just return home — we create new memories!
Amazing places are waiting for us along the way.:
The Ilgumen rapid on the stormy Katun River is a place where the river shows its unbridled character.
The Tsaplinsky Bridge is an architectural marvel frozen in eternity.
The archaeological complex "Adyr-Kan" is a mysterious cult complex of the Bronze Age, which preserves the secrets of ancient civilizations.
The Seminsky pass will be a place of amazing discoveries for us!
Here, at an altitude where the air is especially clean, we will stop for half an hour and visit a colorful fair of Mongolian and Altai goods.

The evening hours will bring us back to Gorno-Altaysk, where everyone will keep a piece of the Altai soul in their hearts.
The scheduled arrival time is from 17:00 to 17:30.

Chibit village, KaraSuu campsite – double cabins: double bed, bed linen, table, kettle, refrigerator. Well-equipped toilet, shower in a separate bathroom on the territory.

Aktash village, Altai-Kizhi campsite – double/triple DBL or TWIN accommodation.

In the house: double and single beds, sink, electric fireplace, bed linen. Well-equipped bathroom and shower on site.
