In the arms of autumn. Auto tour of the Altai Mountains

We climb the picturesque cable car to the Malaya Sinyukha mountain (1030 m). 

Modern comfortable cabins will give you the opportunity to relax and just enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains, the Katuni Valley and Lake Manzherok.

Next, we will go for a walk to the Kamyshlinsky waterfall through the suspension bridge over the Katun along a picturesque forest path.

During the sightseeing tour "Legends of Chemal" we will visit the island of Patmos, passing over the suspension bridge over Katun to the Church of St. John the Theologian, Chemalskaya HPP – the oldest hydroelectric power station in Altai, the confluence of the Chemal and Katun rivers. 

Patmos is a small island with steep rocky slopes on the Katun River, on which the Orthodox Church of St. John the Theologian is located.

At the moment, the temple is an active women's hermitage, where services are held, at the same time it is available for everyone to visit. 

After that, we will visit the fair of Altai and Mongolian goods and souvenirs, natural products of Altai (honey, herbal teas, pine nuts, etc.).

After lunch, we will visit the Askat Blue Lakes, which are impossible to see in summer, since they open only in early autumn.

Excursion along the Chemalsky highway to the Oroktoysky bridge.

In the area of the Orokto Bridge, Katun has a small width and the greatest depth, according to some measurements more than 70 m. 

The Teldekpen rapids are located under the bridge – one of the most beautiful and longest rapids on Katun. 

On the way, we will make a stop in the valley of mountain Spirits and at the Yelandinsky threshold.

We will go up to the observation deck in the Chechkysh tract, where a stunning landscape opens onto the valley of the Katun River. 

Also, from the observation deck, you can observe the island in the middle of Katun, popularly nicknamed the MTS egg for the similarity from the advertising of the mobile operator.

Excursion to the only nursery of pure-bred Belovezhskaya bison beyond the Urals. 

We will not only see them, but also learn a lot of interesting things from the lives of these forest dwellers – contemporaries of the mammoth.

Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk.
