Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The legendary Chuisky tract

    Meeting in Gorno-Altaisk.

The meeting place is the airport, the meeting time is 10:00.

Transfer airport – Manzherok (30 km).

    What is a Cuff?

The place sung by Edita Piekha with a French tinge of Cuffs is not only the name of the village and a fashionable ski complex, but also a lake with a relict chilim nut, a bizarre shape resembling a devil.

Ascent to Sinyukha by gondola cable car (optional, for an additional fee).

Moving over the mountainside, you can admire nature: the waves of the mountains, the winding ribbon of Katun and the lake.

Take a walk through the ecotropics of the Keeper of the Great Altai theme Park, which has no analogues in all of Russia.

The park, located on the top of Malaya Sinyukha Mountain, has 3 trails with a total length of 5 km.

Along the way, you will meet many red book plants, as well as art objects that tell the story of ancient Altai: the stone statue of Kezer Tash and his battle armor: shield, sword, helmet, bow and topshuur.

Transfer Manzherok – Aktash (320 km).

Excursion "The Legendary Chuisky tract" up the Katun and Chuya rivers to the Kurai steppe.

The history of the tract goes back centuries. Once it was a path that only horses and people could walk along.

This particular road was a branch of the Great Silk Road.

Now the Chuisky tract is among the TOP 10 most beautiful roads in the world according to National Geographic.

On the way, we overcome one of the largest passes of Chike-Taman (1,460 m) – picturesque with a serpentine road, it has been known since the X century.

Translated from Altai, it means "Narrow foot".

Climbing up, you will enjoy the impressive curves of the serpentine, and on the flat and long top you will see a magnificent panorama of valleys and mountains.

    Supper.

    Late placement.

Accommodation: campsite "Zeleny Kolobok", recreation center "Krasnye Vorota" or similar in Ulagan district. On foot – 7 km, by car – 350 km.
