Karakol Lakes, famous for their amazing colors and clear waters, are often called black pearls.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Ethno-Altai. Cuffs
06:00 Splices, early breakfast (extra charge).
A walk on Mount Picket, monument to V. Shukshin, the first view of the Altai mountains.
08:30 Meeting of tourists from distant regions at the airport of Gorno-Altaysk.
09:00 Trip to Manzherok: ascent on a two-level lift to Malaya Sinyukha mountain.
Visit to the Park "Keeper of Altai" and participate in the ethnic ceremony at the Golden Woman.
Lunch is on the way.
13:00 Check-in at the recreation center on the banks of the Katun River with a swimming pool.
14:00 Guided tours: meditation with singing bowls and a visit to the Dragon's Teeth observation deck.
17:00 Optional additional excursion: horseback riding to the maral pasture or antler bath.
20:00 Dinner together on the barbecue.
Day 2 - Karakol Lakes
6:00 Breakfast with yourself, departure for an excursion to the Karakol Lakes (additional charge).
Translated from the local language, "Karakol lakes" translates as "black lakes".
The way to the Karakol Lakes is interesting in itself.
There is no road, in the usual sense, to the lakes, delivery is carried out by high-traffic vehicles (GAZ 66).
The one-way trip to Lake Karakol takes about 4 hours (40 km).
Upon arrival, tourists will have lunch prepared by our chef over a campfire.
After that, an excursion to the Karakol lakes (4 km).
Due to the significant elevation difference, the system covers a wide range of natural and climatic zones.
The lower lakes are surrounded by massifs of mountain cedar taiga, above the forest level the trees give way to alpine meadows with a wide variety of flowers, edelweiss grow here, and the surroundings of the small upper lakes are characterized by flora and fauna of the high-altitude tundra.
If the weather is warm and sunny, you can swim in Lake 2 Karakol, whose water is bright turquoise due to its high silver content.
Route duration: from 7:00 to 21:00 (approximate time, possible delays).
Day 3 - Tavda caves and Kamyshlinsky waterfall
09:00-10:00 Breakfast in a cozy atmosphere.
Free time — relax by the pool, enjoying the silence and beauty of the surrounding nature.
12:00 Departure with things for an excursion to the Tavda caves.
The Tavda Caves are a unique natural complex located in the Altai Mountains.
These karst caves are famous for their stalactites and stalagmites, as well as underground lakes.
The caves have repeatedly served as a refuge for ancient people and animals, and today they attract tourists with their mysterious atmosphere and amazing natural forms.
16:00 Visit to Kamyshlinsky waterfall.
Kamyshlinsky waterfall is one of the most beautiful in Altai, its height is about 20 meters.
The water breaks off the rocky ledges, creating a powerful stream and refreshing coolness.
Here you will find a walking tour along the banks of the Katun River or an exciting descent on motorboats — a great way to add drive and feel the bubbling power of the mountain river.
18:00 Departure home.
Arrival in Gorno-Altaysk at 19:00.
Arrival in Novosibirsk at 02:00.

We take blankets and neck pads on the bus, seasonal clothes, warm clothes: socks, a sweater, a windbreaker, 2 pairs of comfortable shoes with ribbed soles without heels, pajamas, slates, a swimsuit, sunscreen 70+, glasses, a hat, lipstick, personal hygiene products, a large bath a towel, a thermos, a set of disposable tableware (for a picnic), an external charger, a flashlight, a small foam mat to sit on a rest stop.

We put our things in soft travel bags (not suitcases), take small backpacks for excursions, and closed shoes with rubber soles for rafting.
