Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Ust-Koksa
Departure from Gorno-Altaysk (airport) at 11:00 to Ust-Koksa (transfer is not included in the price).
If all participants arrive earlier, then an earlier departure is possible, upon the last arrival.
The bus from Gorno-Altaisk arrives in Ust-Koksa at 17.00.
The road passes along the famous Chui tract among the rocky ridges of the Altai Mountains, then along the Kansk steppe to the Uymon Valley.
Accommodation in the eco-hotel Altair.
The briefing.
A walk to the confluence of the Katuni and Koksy rivers.
Supper.
Dating night.
Meals on the road at your own expense, dinner in a cafe.
Day 2 - Radial exit to the Lighthouse Mountain
Radial exit to the Lighthouse mountain.
After lunch, we visit the Craft House.
A master class on making an amulet doll.

Day 3 - Meeting with the herbalist
A meeting with an herbalist, a fascinating story about the healing properties of herbs of the Altai Mountains and, at the end, a tea ceremony with tasting of the most fragrant herbal teas with alpine honey and cakes on stones.

Day 4 - Excursion to the Multin lakes
Ascent along the Multa river to the Lower Multa Lake on GAZ 66 or UAZ.
Access to the lake, located at an altitude of 1710 meters.
The mirrored surface of the lake, 2,370 meters long and up to 900 meters wide, reflects clouds floating in the blue sky and the peaks of the nearest mountains in calm weather.
Grayling is found in the lake.
Walking distance to the Middle Multin lake.
Picnic in nature.
Return to Ust-Koksa for dinner.

Day 5 - A trip to Tungur. View of Belukha
Today we will go to the village of Tyungur.
We will see one of the most beautiful and harmonious sights of the Altai region, the highest peak of the Altai Mountains and the Katun ridge – Belukha.
In the Altai (Oirot) language, it is called Ӱch-Sӱmer - Three-headed.
In fact, the mountain has two peaks in the form of irregular pyramids – Western and Eastern Belukha (4440 and 4506 m), between which there is a lower part - the saddle.
The mountain is indeed almost entirely covered with sparkling snow and glaciers that feed the most beautiful and largest river of the Altai Mountains - Katun.
Climb to the observation deck on Mount Bayda, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Belukha.
Transfer to the Tyurgunda gorge, where the stone statues are located and to the confluence of the Akkem and Katun rivers.
Length: 120 km/5 km.

Day 6 - Departure to Gorno-Altaysk
After breakfast, an excursion to the village of Verkhny Uymon, one of the oldest villages in the Ust-Koksinsky district. The village was founded by Old Believers about 300 years ago.
There are two museums in the village: the N.K. Roerich Museum of Local Lore and the Museum of Old Believers.
Visit to the gem museum.
Lunch.
Departure to Gorno-Altaysk at 15:00.
Arrival in Gorno-Altaysk at 21.00.
Hotel accommodation (on your own)
Recommended hotels: "Beloved" (S. Maima), "Igman" (Gorno-Altaysk).
The next day, transfer to the airport on your own.

Altair Tourist Complex It is located in one of the most beautiful places in Altai, the village of Ust-Koksa, in a clearing between two mountain ranges. In the center of the village there are cafes, shops, post office, telegraph, long-distance telephone, cash desks for accepting payments for mobile communications. The territory of the tourist complex is 1 Hectare. It is a green area surrounded by a birch forest. Literally 100 meters away flows the most beautiful river of Altai - Katun. There is a sauna, a summer cafe, a san. a block, a gazebo, a cottage with comfortable accommodation, a house made of timber with economy accommodation.
