A "fleet" of impressive ice formations is anchored along the coast.

Like works of art, these extraordinary icebergs change colors from white to dark blue.

On the shore, the red algae create a striking contrast with the white, untouched snow, which contains penguin nesting sites scattered throughout the island.

This bay is a natural harbor located in Salpari Bay and discovered by French researcher Jean-Baptiste Charcot (the researcher is named after his father, the famous neurologist Jean–Martin Charcot).

The part of the island that we will visit still preserves Charcot's footprint from 1903-1905 – the anchored ship Le Francais.

A short walk will take you to the remains of Charcot's stone hut, where he conducted research.

Nearby you will see a colony of subantarctic penguins, and if you continue climbing to the top, you will pass by the stone pyramids and enjoy the panoramic view of a huge field of icebergs scattered across the bay – a mystical place like no other in Antarctica.

During the cruise, you will have the opportunity to stop at Port Lockroy, a spectacular natural harbor located in the heart of the Antarctic Peninsula on Goodier Island.

Discovered by French explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot in 1903, the island was for many years a stopover for whaling ships, then a British military base, and then a research station.

The port is currently one of the most visited places in Antarctica, thanks to a tiny museum that allows visitors to see a real 1950s research base and take home a souvenir from the gift shop.

Deception Island, South Shetland Islands.

Located just above the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula, Deception Island is easily recognizable due to its distinctive horseshoe shape.

The crater of the volcano located here collapsed 10,000 years ago, and the resulting caldera was flooded, creating a natural harbor.

Deception Island still retains traces of its past as a center of the whaling industry.

The remains of abandoned hangars, which were built on the black sand of volcanic beaches, share the space with the spectacular fauna of the island: there is the largest colony of Antarctic penguins, as well as numerous elephant seals and fur seals.

Our ship is heading for Ushuaia, but the adventures don't end there.: We continue to observe whales and seabirds.

On the last evening, you will have a farewell captain's dinner.
