Malye Korely is one of the largest open—air museum-reserves of wooden architecture in Russia and the main attraction of Arkhangelsk.

Visit to the exhibition dedicated to the Arkhangelsk gingerbread "kozule" and a master class on its painting. The name of the traditional gingerbread "goat" comes from the Pomeranian word for "curl", "snake".
Arkhangelsk goat is flat, made of gingerbread dough, with white sugar and colored glaze.
Once gingerbread men in Arkhangelsk began baking goats two months before Christmas in molds made of iron, and in December they were painted with elegant sugars. Goats were given to children and used as decorations, and recipes were passed down from generation to generation.
