Every day passes through the forest area and blooming alpine meadows. You will walk along rocky paths to lakes and waterfalls, visit a lot of mountain lakes: according to the plan — 10, and if the group walks well, you can see even more — emerald lake Orlenok, colorful Dukkin, huge Seven-colored, drop-Comma lake and incredible Sofia lakes.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Thermal springs "Pearl of the Caucasus"
11:00-11:30 (Moscow time) Gathering of the group in Mineralnye Vody (railway station, airport).
Transfer by minibus to the village. Arkhyz, to the Taulu clearing (about 3-3.5 hours).
Thermal springs.
On the first day of the hike to Arkhyz, we will stop by to swim in the thermal springs!
The Pearl of the Caucasus complex has several pools with hot and cooler water.
Let's choose the pool that we like the most and enjoy spending time here.
After swimming, we go further into the mountains!
In the afternoon we will arrive at our favorite camp and set up tents.
In the evening we will cook dinner and get acquainted.
The active part of the hike: 2 km on foot.
The campsite in Arkhyz is located at an altitude of 1600 m.
The duration of the transfer with things from the minibus to the camp: 1-2 minutes.

Day 2 - Trekking to Orlyonok Lake
We will start our trekking part of the hike to Arkhyz with a visit to the Orlyonok lakes.
We will climb the Sofia ridge and see alpine meadows for the first time along the way.
After passing through the flower glades, admire the waterfall, and then climb to a surprisingly flat plateau!
From here, we will look at the village of Arkhyz from afar, and also admire the huge, very spectacular Kara-Jash mountain.
Its sharp peaks invariably attract the gaze of tourists!
Next, we will go into the coniferous forest and take a photo of the first lake Orlyonok.
Then we will walk a little further to see the second emerald lake, which is hidden higher up the gorge.
The active part of the route: 12.6 km, altitude difference 1600-2380 m, duration 6-7 hours.

Day 3 - Trekking to the lakes of Malaya Dukka
Mountain transport will take us to the beginning of the trail, and then only on foot.
If you like long trekking with lots of photo locations, then this route will appeal to you!
On this day of hiking in the Arkhyz mountains, we will see 3 lakes on the Malaya Dukka River.
They are all completely different shapes and colors!
Rhododendrons bloom near the first lake in June, blueberries can be harvested near the second lake in August, and the third lake is simply huge and beautiful.
The active part of the route: 11.8 km, elevation difference of 1920-2600 m, duration 7-8 hours.

Day 4 - Trekking to Lake Semitsvetnoye
The Dukka River is rich in beautiful reservoirs.
Today we will go to one of the largest local lakes.
We will walk along the Bolshaya Dukka River for half a day and smoothly climb the valley.
Only at the very end of the gorge will there be a steeper climb.
But, climbing the stone moraine, immediately behind it we will see a Seven-colored lake!
It is huge, picturesque, surrounded by harsh cliffs.
The water in the lake will be of different colors from different sides.
We will walk along the lake shore together and take a lot of colorful photos.
The active part of the route: 13.2 km, elevation difference of 1920-2450 m, duration 7-8 hours.

Day 5 - Trekking to the Sofia Lakes
We climb higher and higher along the valley of the Ak-Aira River, admiring the waterfalls along the way.
To make it easier to climb, the instructor will treat you to fruits or nuts.
And then — the ascent to the Irkiz pass!
We will see 3 lakes — magnificent, colorful!
We take pictures of the Sofia lakes from above, then come closer to them.
We will descend through another gorge and along the way we will see another lake — the dark green Aimatli.
The active part of the route: 12.3 km, altitude difference 2000-2280 m, duration 8-9 hours.

Day 6 - Trekking to the lake Lower Comma
We will see a lot of strange lakes on this hike through Arkhyz!
Today it is the turn of the lake, which resembles a huge, green drop or comma in shape.
The water in this emerald pond is surprisingly transparent, you can see the bottom and huge stones.
After going to the lake, we will climb a small hillock to admire it from above!
The active part of the route: 6.3 km, elevation difference 1820-2890-1890 m, duration 8-9 hours.

Day 7 - Departure from the camp, return to Mineralnye Vody
We wake up in the morning in such a familiar camp.
As usual, a delicious breakfast awaits us!
Today is the final day of the hike, so we pack our tents and leave the mountains.
12:30-13:30 Return to the city of Mineralnye Vody (we stop at the airport and the railway station).
Depending on the weather conditions, the physical condition of the participants and other factors, the route of the hike may be changed.
