Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Placement
Meeting at the airport and at the Mineralnye Vody railway station until 13:00.
Transfer to Arkhyz village, arrival at 18:00. Hotel accommodation according to the selected rate.
Dinner at 19:00, meeting with the team. Free time and rest.

Day 2 - White Waterfall Hike
Breakfast at 08:00.
Hike to the White Waterfall. The beginning of the route is driving an SUV through a coniferous forest.
The walking route is 5 km long.;
height difference 150 m;
The hike time is 3 hours.
Lunch on the route.
After the hike, we will have a Caucasian dinner with kebabs and homemade wine prepared by the organizer. Drinks and locally produced products: cheeses, herbs, vegetables, lemonades. Outdoor dining with mountain view.

Day 3 - Sofia Waterfalls Hike
Breakfast at 08:00.
Hike to the Sofia waterfalls. 9 huge streams of crystal clear water falling down. We drive an SUV to the starting point of the route, and then on foot.

height difference 500 m;
The passage time is 6 hours.
A paradise of our planet, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Karachay-Cherkessia.
Lunch at the waterfalls. Arrival at the hotel at 18:30.
Dinner is at 19:30, and then a wood-burning sauna awaits us.

Day 4 - Hike to the pass, waterfall and Lake Eaglet
Breakfast at 08:00.
Hike to the pass, waterfall and Lake Eaglet.
Starting the route, we drive an SUV through a beautiful gorge with huge mountains above 3000 m and relic forests, overlooking glaciers. Walking part of the route:
length of 12 km;
height difference 602 m;
route time is 7 hours;
the height of the waterfalls is up to 10 m.
Lunch on the route. Arrival at the hotel at 19:00.
Dinner at 20:00. Free time after dinner.

Day 5 - Trip to Phia Pass, Romantic resort
Breakfast at 08:00.
A trip to the Phia pass. These are completely wild places with stunning views of forests and glaciers. Here we go by off-road vehicle to the observation deck, from here you can see the Arkasara ridge.
Lunch at the pass.
After the hike, we visit the Romantic resort so that you can take a cable car up and see the peaks (3600 rub).
Arrival at the hotel at 17:00. Free time for:
ATV rides from 3000 rub/person.;
horseback riding from 1,500 rubles/person.
Dinner at 18:30.

Day 6 - Hike to the Seven-colored Lake
Breakfast at 07:00.
A trip to the Seven-colored Lake. One of the most beautiful lakes in the vicinity of Arkhyz. We drive an SUV to the starting point of the route, and then on foot.
The length is 18 km;
The height difference is 600 m;
The passage time is 8 hours.
Lunch at the lake. Arrival at the hotel at 18:30.
Dinner at 19:30, with fragrant tea made from mountain herbs, which will relax the body after a hike.
Day 7 - Astrophysical Observatory, departure
Breakfast at 08:00. Check-in rooms.
Check-out from the hotel at 09:00. We'll visit on the way:
Arkhyz Astrophysical Observatory (optional guided tour for an additional fee);
The Alan settlement is a place of Christian temples dating back to the 10th and 12th centuries. Entrance tickets to the settlement are paid separately.
Arrival at the airport and Mineralnye Vody railway station at 17:00.

The tour involves a fairly high physical activity: participants will have to overcome hiking trails ranging from 4 to 15 km along narrow and rocky trails.

Good physical fitness, sufficient endurance and healthy, strong joints are necessary for safe and comfortable passage of the route. There must be no medical contraindications (in particular, hypertension).

If you rarely exercise and are not used to long walks, the load may be excessive.

In all variants, it is possible to move in. If there are tourists on the dates who travel alone and do not mind moving in, then we can combine them (by agreement) and you will not have to pay extra.

There are two-storey cottages on the territory of the guest house. Each house has a double bed/two separate beds, a sofa, a bathroom, a small kitchen area, a TV and a mini fridge.

Forest Yard Recreation Center

It is located in Arkhyz, 359 m from the Bolshoy Zelenchuk River. It offers a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Rooms of various degrees of capacity and comfort are offered for accommodation. Each room has comfortable beds, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with plumbing fixtures, a hairdryer, and personal hygiene products.

The rooms have a kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle and cutlery. Barbecue facilities are available for those who wish. Room service is available for an additional fee.

There is a terrace on site. Guests can enjoy various outdoor activities, including skiing. The distance to Sukhum Airport is 79.1 km, and to the railway station is 65.6 km.

It's important to know

No special equipment is required.
There are no special requirements for clothing. Clothing and shoes should be athletic, comfortable, waterproof, and weather-appropriate.
Special trekking shoes are not required. If there is one, then you can take it. If not, then you shouldn't buy it on purpose. Athletic sneakers and boots are quite suitable, as long as the sole is not smooth and slippery. Shoes should be worn, not new. At least 2 pairs are required.
Trekking poles are also optional. The route is of medium difficulty and in fact sticks are not particularly needed. Some tourists use them, some go without sticks. If necessary, they are available at the box office.
You will need: a swimsuit for thermal springs, flip-flops, a raincoat.
You should not take a large backpack on a hike.
Of the mandatory items that should be in a backpack are personal hygiene items and a water bottle. If you are using it, you can take a thermos.

What sets the providers of this tour apart: comfortable transfers, excellent accommodations, a well-rounded and engaging itinerary, knowledgeable guides, and genuine attention to each guest. Being hosted here feels like visiting family in the Caucasus!

end OF MAY	During the day, it averages from +10 to +18 degrees, at night it can drop to +8. You will need warm clothes, as there may still be snow on the peaks.
June	On average, the daytime temperature is between +15 and +20 degrees. Depending on the altitude, it may be warmer or cooler. At night, the temperature drops to about +5, +7. At the end of the month, the Alpine meadows begin to bloom.
July	During the day, it is usually quite hot, sometimes up to +30, but on average from +18 to +24 degrees. The sun is quite active, so you need to take sunscreen. It is noticeably cooler in the mountains at night, about +12...+14 degrees.
august	It's warm, but not as hot as in July. During the day, the average temperature is +21...+23 degrees. It gets cooler at night, up to +8...+10
september	There are many sunny days, rarely when it is colder than +10, and warming to +18 degrees and above is often observed.
october	The daytime temperature in the first half of October ranges from +7 to +10. Often, the air warms up to + 15 and above. At night it often gets colder to +2 and 0 degrees. At the beginning of the month, the golden autumn period begins.
