The climate is sharply continental with pronounced seasonality. Summer comes early here (already in May you can sunbathe and even swim) and lasts until the end of September. Astrakhan is one of the sunniest regions of Russia, the average number of sunny days per year is more than 200 days!

Therefore, when planning a trip to the Astrakhan region, you should not forget to buy hats and sunburn protection products. Please note that at the end of May – mid–June, midges are activated in the Astrakhan region - these are small annoying flies that cause inconvenience with their importunity and bites. However, you should not categorically refuse to rest in Astrakhan during this period, vanilla oil, cloves and Arab oil perfumes SOFT, which are sold practically in all pharmacies and shops of the city, perfectly help to protect yourself from it.

The Astrakhan Kremlin.

The central entrance to the Kremlin is located at 2/14 V. Trediakovsky Street. Entrance to the Kremlin is free, opening hours are from 7.00 to 21.00. 

Exhibitions operate on the territory of the Kremlin from May to September. 

Theaters. 

There are 4 theaters in Astrakhan: drama, puppet, young audience and opera and ballet. Tickets for productions of Astrakhan theaters can be purchased on the website www.kassir.ru .

Walking along the waterways of Astrakhan is one of the most sought-after entertainment for guests of the city. 

From May to September, you can ride along the Volga around Gorodskoy Island on a river tram.

The lotus blossom period attracts tourists to the Astrakhan region every year. 

The Volga River Delta is the only place in the world where hectares of lotus fields are located. 

The first lotuses bloom in mid-July, but mass flowering is observed in August and early September.

1. Attention! For tourists arriving at the railway station and staying at the Cosmos 4* hotel, a transfer is not provided to the Cosmos 4* hotel, since the hotel is located opposite the railway station 200 meters from the platform. 
2. A group transfer is provided only to those tourists who provided information – flight number or train number of the host company. If there is no information for the day, tourists will be denied a group transfer. 
3. A group with the name of the tour will be created on WhatsApp 1 day before the start of the tour. This group will have daily up-to-date information on the tour. Please specify only the current phone numbers when booking the tour. 
4. For tourists booking an additional day BEFORE and AFTER the tour (for a day or more), a group transfer is not provided. An individual transfer is available on request or tourists can use the Yandex Taxi service. 
5. Check-out time in Astrakhan hotels: 

• 14:00 (local time +1 hour Moscow time) – check-in 
• 12:00 (local time + 1 hour Moscow time) – departure.

Early check-in is only possible if you pay for a room for a full day (according to the rules of the hotel).
