Itinerary

Day 1 - The beginning of the journey. The road to Olkhon
The group will meet in Irkutsk at 10.00 (meeting place: Angara hotel or airport, the organizer will send the exact time the day before).
The tour can be arranged according to the classic and mirror routes, depending on the date of arrival. This means that all the activities and excursions described in the tour program will be organized in different sequences by day.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive towards the most popular place on Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island.
Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of power and especially powerful energy!
Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia.
It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world.
There will be a stop at the Golden Horde Ethnic Park on the way.
Here you will get acquainted with the ethnocultural identity of the indigenous population of Lake Baikal, and you will be presented with an exciting program.
The road to Olkhon will run along a comfortable highway surrounded by beautiful scenic nature.
Olkhon is an island, and it is accessed via a ferry crossing.
Your way to the ferry crossing will be along the "Martian Road", as our guests often say about the Tajeran steppes.
These are kilometers of expanse, in some places picturesquely decorated with rocky remnants, where the road winds like a snake between hills and hills.
After crossing to the island, you will find a road to the center of Olkhon – the village of Khuzhir, where you will check into a recreation center.
In the evening, you will have free time to spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance is the calling card of Lake Baikal, the most popular, recognizable and at the same time energetically strong location – Cape Burkhan, Shamanka rock.
We will go for a walk there at sunset – the rays of the setting sun color the waters of Lake Baikal with burning shades.
It's an incredibly beautiful and enjoyable sight and pastime!
This is the end of your first day in Olkhon.
You will have a rest before tomorrow's active and eventful day!

Day 2 - Excursion to Cape Khoboy
Today you will immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of Olkhon Island.
After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to the picturesque part of the island – to the north, to Cape Khoboy.
The cape is located in the very north of the island.
Its name translates from the language of the local population as "fang", and indeed, the rocky steep shores in these places resemble animal fangs.
And together with the amazingly blue water surface, they create beautiful vivid natural paintings.
Being near the edge of the cape, Lake Baikal seems endless, its grandeur and vastness are felt!
You will also visit Cape Lyubov (or Cape Shunte-Levy).
Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after rituals and prayers, they would soon have children.
It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
The cape is distinguished by the characteristic shapes of the rocks, and the views from there are fascinating!
In addition, as part of the tour, you will capture Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff of snow–white marble.
The beautiful legend of the three brothers is associated with this cape – they will definitely tell it to you, and being there, listening to the legend, you feel like a participant or at least a witness of the events described.
After that, you will go further along the island: there are picturesque steppes around and suddenly an almost eight–meter bronze sculpture in the form of an unusual tree appears in front of your eyes - this is the creation of the famous sculptor Dasha Namdakov "Keeper of Lake Baikal", his gift to Lake Baikal.
The sculpture is located at some distance from the roads, on a hill.
It looks extremely authentic and majestic!
In the middle of the day, you will refresh yourself by eating a fragrant lunch against the backdrop of the beautiful Baikal nature!
The tour takes place with stops in the most beautiful places where you can take wonderful photos for memory.
After returning to the hotel, the evening can be devoted to horseback riding (it is necessary to book in advance before departure to Olkhon), rest.

Day 3 - Farewell to Olkhon
On this day, our amazing journey through Olkhon is coming to an end.
Breakfast awaits you in the morning and you will have the opportunity to take a last walk around Olkhon.
In the afternoon, departure to Irkutsk, from where your adventure in the mountains of the Eastern Sayan will begin tomorrow.
If you wish, you can complement your unforgettable trip to Olkhon and add a tour of the south of the island. You will visit places such as Lake Khankoy, the Rock Garden, a lonely birch tree, and the sunniest part of the island, Khalzany Falls. For more information, you will need to contact your tour organizer. The excursion is not included in the price of the tour, it is paid additionally.

Day 4 - The road to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan. Tagarhai city tour, local meeting
After breakfast, you will drive to Tagarkhai village, located near Arshan.
Upon arrival in Tagarhai, you will be greeted by locals with a program!
You will be greeted according to the traditional Buryat custom with a khadak (Khadak is a scarf or shawl in the shape of a long narrow rectangle. This subject has a sacred meaning in Buddhist philosophy.), they will tell you the story of the Buryat holiday "Sagaalgan" (Buryat New Year), as well as introduce you to the statue of Buddha!
This 2-meter-high statue (with a pedestal), commissioned in Tibet, is one of the most attractive things for our guests.
The statue was unveiled on June 23, 2022, with the participation of the lamas of the Sangha of Russia, namely Did-Hambo Dymbryl Lamas and lamas of the entire district.
The statue itself is called "Lhakan", which means the house of the Buddha, Burhanai ger.
Additionally, you can have a master class in the national dance of Yekhor, and you can also ride a horse or a sleigh (optional).

Day 5 - Sightseeing tour of Arshan, waterfalls, springs. Return to Irkutsk
Today begins an exciting journey to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan, to the village of Arshan, located at their foot.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will set off from Irkutsk along a scenic road through the village of Kultuk, located in the very south of Lake Baikal.
And then you will drive along the Tunka valley, where the mountains of the Eastern Sayan rise on your right, and at the foot lies the steppe, where you can often find herds of graceful horses, cozy settlements, villages.
Arshan village is a village nestled next to the mountains, a place rich in mineral springs.
The composition of Arshan mineral water is close to Caucasian Narzan.
Your acquaintance with this place will take place under the guidance of an experienced guide.
You will go to the thundering waterfalls, walk along the path along a picturesque gorge, a briskly running mountain river.
Along the way, you will be able to visit the local market with Siberian goods (herbs, nuts, souvenirs) and the local Buddhist temple-monastery of Hoimorsky Datsan "Bodhidharma", located in a truly magical place called "Svyataya Polyana" among century-old cedars with spreading branches, and the peaks of the mountains flaunt against the background.

It is located on the island of Olkhon in the picturesque area of the village of Khuzhir, 150 m from Lake Baikal. The tour operator reserves the right to swap excursions according to the tour program, replace them with equivalent ones in situations related to changes in weather conditions, force majeure or at the discretion of the organizer, but undertakes to fulfill the entire tour program and provide all excursions specified in it in full.
The tour is a combined group, the number of people in the tour can reach 18 people.

Olkhon Island is reached by ice crossing in the winter season and by ferry in the summer.
In the off-season on khivus (hovercraft). If the ice crossing does not work for climatic reasons, then the tourist pays for the crossing on Khivus himself.
"Economy" is a one-room room with a number of beds according to the number of residents. Bathroom (shower and toilet) It is located on the floor or in an adjacent building and is shared by all hotel guests.
"Standard" is a comfortable room equipped with its own bathroom (shower and toilet), with the number of beds according to the number of residents.
"Comfort" is a more spacious and comfortable room in comparison with the "standard" category, equipped with a modern design (shower and toilet inside).
The presented classification of hotel rooms does not depend on the star rating of the accommodation facility.
The tour operator does not guarantee the tourist accommodation in a specific hotel selected by the tourist from the list.
The tour operator has the right to replace the hotel listed in the list with a similar one in terms of category and cost.
The check-in involves the accommodation of up to 3 tourists in the room.
Each tourist is provided with a separate sleeping place.
If, for reasons beyond the control of the tour operator (cancellation or postponement of other tourists' accommodation with check-in on the same dates), there was no check-in at any point on the route, the tour operator has the right to put the tourist in an economy single room (shower and toilet on the floor or in an adjacent building).
The tourist, for whom there was no accommodation, has the opportunity to stay in a single room "standard" with an additional fee.
To do this, the tourist must independently check with the tour operator no later than 14 days before the start of the tour whether there was a check-in for him and inform him of his desire to make an additional payment for accommodation in a single room "standard".
