Baikal ice from Krasnoyarsk

We are going on a winter trip — the transparent ice of Lake Baikal, the energy of the Ogoi stupa and riding the khivus — an absolutely unique travel format available only in winter.

We are waiting for the sacred island of Olkhon, the largest island of Lake Baikal and the third largest lake island in the world, the famous Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment — one of the most energetically powerful places in Lake Baikal and what many people go to Lake Baikal specifically for — ice skating on the largest ice rink in the world.

We will also take a short walk around the city: the Angara embankment, the historical center and the brightly lit winter streets of Irkutsk create a special atmosphere.

Many thanks to the provider for giving us the best guide in Dagestan - Magomed! We were absolutely delighted. The hotel we stayed at was very comfortable and truly enjoyable, and the restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast was excellent as well. The people in the mountains of Dagestan are incredibly hospitable and genuinely strive to create a welcoming environment for visitors. We wish them all the best and continued success!
