Itinerary

Day 1 - Irkutsk — Kurkut – Olkhon – Khuzhir
Today you will find:
the rite of greeting the local spirits;
the first acquaintance with the national Buryat cuisine;
Red deer walk;
sunset meeting on Olkhon.
08:30-10:00 The guide meets at the airport those who arrive on the day of the start.
Those who arrived the day before — we collect at the hotels before 10:00.
10:00 Departure to Olkhon Island.
10:30 We stop at barisan, a roadside shamanic shrine.
"Burhanim": we ask the spirits of the area for good weather and clean ice.
13:00-14:00 Lunch in a Buryat cafe.
On the table there are buuzes, Buryat soup and boovies for dessert.
14:30-15:00 We stop at the Olekha maral farm — we feed the marals with our hands, walk around the park accompanied by a local guide.
16:30-17:00 We cross by hovercraft on the first ice through the Olkhon Gate Strait (about 2 km) to Olkhon Island.
17:00-18:00 Moving around the island of Olkhon to the hotel by car.
18:00 We check into the hotel and take a break from adventures.

Day 2 - Khuzhir — Small Sea area — Khuzhir
Today you will find:
hovercraft ride on the first Baikal ice;
inspection of splashes, grottoes, transparent ice;
ice skating;
excursion to one of the nine shrines of Asia — Shamanka Rock, sunset at the place of power.
From 08:30 we have breakfast in the hotel's buffet restaurant.
10:00-11:00 We move to the south of the island of Olkhon, to a place where the safe and beautiful Baikal ice already stands.
11:00-14:00 Exploring the waters of the Small Sea on a hovercraft.
14:00-15:00 We return to Khuzhir.
We have lunch on our own.
After lunch, everyone walks with a guide to Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock) and along the Saray Ring eco–trail.
We have dinner on our own in the evening.
~5 hours (~2 hours of travel, ~3 hours of excursions and walks).

Day 3 - Olkhon Island — The Small Sea — Irkutsk
Today you will find:
Meeting a new day in a place of power;
folklore in the Golden Horde Ethnopark;
Yekhor national dance master class;
tasting of juicy Buryat bouzas;
farewell dinner (snacks).
From 08:30 We have breakfast in the hotel's buffet restaurant.
10:00-11:00 We leave the hotel to the ferry in the south of Olkhon Island.
11:00-11:30 Crossing from Olkhon Island through the Olkhon Gate Strait to the SVP.
11:30-17:00 We get in a minibus and drive to Irkutsk.
14:00-15:30 We arrive at the Golden Horde Ethnopark, enjoy the folklore program “Visiting a Buryat family", hold a master class on sculpting bouz and a national Buryat lunch.
17:00 Arrival at the hotel in Irkutsk, check-in and free time.
19:30 Farewell dinner at a restaurant in Irkutsk.
Interesting snacks will be presented at the table to try the Baikal cuisine once again, and you can order the main dishes from the menu.

Day 4 - Returning home
The hotel is booked until 12:00.
Breakfast at the hotel is included in the price.
If your flight is in the evening or you want to stay in Irkutsk for another day, we will extend your booking and help you plan your day.
