Day 1 - Sightseeing tour of Irkutsk
Welcome to Irkutsk!
Group gathering:
airport – 8-8:30 inside the building at the exit to the city (opposite the baggage claim);
railway station – 9-9:30 (entrance "suburban ticket offices", inside the building at the exit to the city).
Meeting with the guide, breakfast.
Sightseeing tour of the city of Irkutsk.
We start from the place where in 1661 Yakov Pokhabov founded the Irkutsk prison, here we will also see the most memorable and ancient shrine of Irkutsk – the Church of the Savior, the colorful Epiphany Cathedral, the Polish Church, the Eternal Flame, the Moscow Gate, a monument to the Pioneers.
The Znamensky Monastery, next to it is a monument to Kolchak.
Then along Karl Marx Street (historical name – Bolshoy Prospekt) We will go to Gagarin Boulevard.
No less interesting sightseeing sites are located here: the monument to Emperor Alexander III, erected here in honor of the completion of the Great Trans–Siberian Railway, the only Moorish Castle in Siberia – the building that now houses the Irkutsk Museum of Local Lore, the White House (or Sibiryakovsky Palace) - a house that belonged first to the merchants Sibiryakov, and then for a long time It served as the residence of the Governor-General of Eastern Siberia.
Then we will visit a new tourist center with restored historical buildings – "Irkutsk Sloboda" (or the so-called 130th quarter).

Day 2 - Talci and Listvyanka
After breakfast, we will go to the village of Listvyanka.
On the way, we will visit the open-air ethnographic museum complex "Taltsy".
The museum recreates the cultural and everyday life of the Siberian village of the 17th and 19th centuries.
Here you will see the estates of wealthy peasants, the Spasskaya Tower of the Ilimsky ostrog, the Parish Council, the parish school, the temple of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God of the 17th century.
What is especially interesting is that each courtyard of the museum has its own exposition, you can go into each house and plunge into the atmosphere of those times.
Here you can ride in a carriage, walk on stilts, swing on a Siberian swing.
After stopping in Listvyanka, we will make a stop in front of the legendary Shaman Stone, reminiscent of the legend known to all Siberians about the love story of Angara and Yenisei.
After that, visit the Baikal Museum, where you will meet with the inhabitants of the lake.
Seals, hamaruses, gobies, sponges – these are the amazing organisms that live in Lake Baikal.
Next, we go to the market (fish and souvenir market in one place) – this is a good opportunity to purchase souvenirs from Siberian craftsmen made of stone, wood, birch bark and glass, as well as taste Baikal fish – omul, grayling, whitefish, cold and hot smoked.

On your own, on foot or by chairlift, you can climb to the observation deck on the Chersky stone, which offers a beautiful view of Lake Baikal and the source of the Angara.

Day 3 - KBZHD – Tunka Valley – Arshan
Breakfast.
Departure by ferry to the port of Baikal.
Excursion along the KBZHD (Circum-Baikal Railway).
Today, Forbes magazine has included KBZHD among the most beautiful railway routes in the world.
14 km of retaining walls, 47 stone and 3 iron galleries were built in collapse-prone areas.
In terms of volume, complexity and cost of work, this section had no equal among the railways of Russia.
The exit is in Mica.
The railway station in Slyudyanka is a unique architectural monument.
For more than a hundred years, it has been the only operating railway station in the world, built entirely of white and pink marble.
We are going to the Tunka Valley, Arshan.
Arshan surpasses Crimea in terms of the number of sunny days per year.
Arrival in Arshan, dinner.
For dinner, we will taste Buryat cuisine and, of course, the famous buzas!

Day 4 - Waterfalls on the Kyngarga River
Breakfast.
Walking tour along the scenic trail to the waterfalls on the Kyngarga River.
The length of the river, whose name translates from the local language as “drum”, is 27 km.
In general, there are about 12 small waterfalls on the river, all of them are located above the first one and they can be approached along an 11-kilometer path along the Kyngarga.
The tour takes you to the first waterfall.
The first and most visited of the waterfalls is located at a distance of 1.5 kilometers from the Arshan resort.
A well-equipped trail along the left bank of the river leads to this waterfall.
Above the path there is a river gorge, squeezed by stone walls and “decorated” with intricate rock formations.
The bottom of the gorge is covered with yellow-pink marble, polished to smoothness by water – this section of the riverbed is called "Marble bottom".
