Day 1 - Listvyanka tour and the Taltsy Museum
A vacation on Lake Baikal in autumn is a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature in a calm environment, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and get an indelible impression of this amazing place.
After arriving in Irkutsk, you will head towards Listvyanka along the picturesque Baikal highway to explore Lake Baikal (meeting place: Angara Hotel or airport, the organizer will send the exact time the day before).
Listvyanka is a kind of tourism Mecca among all visitors to Irkutsk, the starting point of many sightseeing routes around Lake Baikal.
This is the closest place to the city where you can see the Pearl of Siberia.
Before reaching Listvyanka, you will visit an amazing and interesting place – the Taltsy open-air museum.
This is a museum that combines architectural wooden exhibits from different centuries.
Located in a picturesque place, it seems to immerse you in another time with its atmosphere.: This is how the inhabitants of different times, their way of life and lifestyle are seen.
Approaching Listvyanka, you will learn a fascinating and beautiful legend about Lake Baikal and Angara, and you will see the legendary Shaman Stone.

Day 2 - Sightseeing tour of Irkutsk
Today will be marked by an introduction to the capital of Eastern Siberia, Irkutsk.
Irkutsk is an ancient Siberian city that arose on the site of the Siberian prison.
Tourists are interested, first of all, in the wooden architecture, which harmoniously fits into the urban environment – this is a unique example of the neighborhood of modernity and historical heritage.
Irkutsk has about 685 historical and cultural monuments.
You will drive through historical sites, and your guide, who is an expert on the history of the city, will tell you interesting facts, introduce you to the history of Irkutsk prison, tell you about architecture and wooden architecture, prominent figures in the history and culture of Russia, whose activities were inextricably linked with Irkutsk.
The seemingly ordinary buildings, sculptures and monuments will open from a different perspective, you will feel the spirit of the times in a modern city.
The duration of the tour is 3-4 hours.

Day 3 - Irkutsk — Olkhon Island
Today begins the journey to the heart of Lake Baikal – the island of Olkhon.
Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of power and especially powerful energy!
Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia.
It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world. According to legend, Genghis Khan is buried here.
You will depart from Irkutsk at approximately 10 a.m.
The path will run through picturesque views – you will touch the charm of Baikal nature on the way to Olkhon, painted in warm and rich golden autumn shades, it is especially admirable!
Your way to the ferry crossing will be along the "Martian Road", as our tourists often say about the Tajeran steppes.
The landscapes really transport you to some kind of alien reality!
Arriving on the island, you will settle in its center – the village of Khuzhir.
In the evening, you have free time to spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance from the hotels on Olkhon is the calling card of Lake Baikal – Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock).
Shamanka is one of the attractions of the Baikal National Park.
Tourists note the energy of the place ringing in the air, you can feel it on your skin and it's hard to find words to express delight!

Day 4 - Excursion to Cape Khoboy
Today you will immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of Olkhon Island.
After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to the picturesque part of the island – to the north, to Cape Khoboy.
It is worth noting that the weather on Lake Baikal is excellent in autumn, the air temperature is not as high as in summer, which makes walking around the surroundings especially pleasant.
From the village of Khuzhir, we will first go to the observation deck in the village of Kharantsy and explore the Lion's Head and Crocodile Islands in the distance.
From the outside, it looks like a big stone crocodile is trying to catch up with a huge stone lion!
Next, our way through a picturesque location called the Sandy tract!
There are very interesting places here: a popular summer beach with pomegranate sand, and there used to be a fish factory where prisoners of a small gulag worked.
Along the way, you will also see Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff of snow–white marble, after which we will reach Cape Khoboy.
The cape is located in the very north of the island.
Its name translates from the language of the local population as "fang", and indeed, the rocky steep shores in these places resemble animal fangs.
Being near the edge of the cape, Lake Baikal seems endless, you can feel its greatness!
On the way back, you will visit Cape Lyubov (or Cape Shunte-Levy).
Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after rituals and prayers, they would soon have children.
It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
You will also see with your own eyes the unusual and impressive creation of the famous sculptor Dasha Namdakov "The Keeper of Lake Baikal" — this is his gift to Lake Baikal.
The sculpture is located at some distance from the roads, on a hill.
The "Guardian" looks extremely authentic and majestic!
In the middle of the day, you will refresh yourself by eating a fragrant lunch against the backdrop of the golden Baikal nature!
The tour takes place with stops in the most beautiful places where you can take wonderful photos for memory.
You will find: Cape Sagan-Khushun; Cape Khoboy; Cape Lyubov; sculpture "Keeper of Lake Baikal".

Olkhon Camping Hotel

It is located near the water and the center of the village of Khuzhir. The hotel has a hot shower, separate well-equipped toilets, a cafe with 100 seats, a volleyball court, a picnic area, gazebos, and an army tent for corporate events. The entire territory is covered by a Wi-Fi zone.
