Itinerary

Day 1 - Siberian Paris – The Gates of Lake Baikal
Welcome to Irkutsk!
Meeting at the airport and at the railway station (8:00-8:30, opposite the baggage claim, railway station 9-9.30, inside the building at the exit to the city, suburban ticket offices) with a sign saying "ICE!".
We get acquainted with the guide and go on a sightseeing tour of the city of Irkutsk, during which you will not only get acquainted with the most interesting places in Irkutsk, but also see our winter fairy tale!
But before that, to take a little break from the road, we'll stop by for breakfast.
After the city tour, we go to Lake Baikal, to the place where the beautiful Angara originates, the gates of Lake Baikal – to Listvyanka.
On the way we will stop at the museum of wooden architecture "Taltsy". The museum recreates the cultural and everyday life of the Siberian village of the 17th and 19th centuries.
Here you will see the original estates of wealthy peasants, the Spasskaya Tower of the Ilimsky ostrog, the Parish Council, the parish school, the temple of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God of the 17th century. What is especially interesting is that each courtyard of the museum has its own exposition, you can go into each house and plunge into the atmosphere of those times.
In winter, the famous Russian roller coasters operate on the territory. Do not deny yourself the pleasure of riding a cowhide from a dizzying height.
We stop by the Siberian Huskies: we will get acquainted with these milahs and take a ride along the familiarization route.
A short drive to Listvyanka and here is a meeting with the gray-haired Baikal, wrapped in crystal-clear clothes trimmed with snow-white fur of snow-capped ridges!
Lunch at a restaurant overlooking the most beautiful source of the Angara: the ice edge of Lake Baikal and the rushing waters of the obstinate beauty. The source of the Angara never freezes.
After lunch, a tour of Listvyanka, during which you will get acquainted with the history of the village, see the source of the Angara from a bird's–eye view - we will climb the chairlift to the Chersky stone, visit the fish market and souvenir stalls where you can taste Baikal fish and buy souvenirs.
After the tour: accommodation at the hotel, rest and free time, dinner.

Day 2 - Baikal Riviera and Space
Today we will have an amazing excursion on Khivus along the western Coast of Lake Baikal on the mirrored ice to the Sandy Bay. This is one of the most popular excursions of winter Lake Baikal.
The Siberian Riviera is the name of the Sandy Bay, it is very beautiful, surrounded by rocks and forest, it is impossible to get here by road.
Here we will see sand dunes, famous stilt trees, climb to a height from which a magnificent panoramic view of the frozen, cobwebbed cracks of Lake Baikal opens.
On the way, we stop at another wonderful place – the Baikal Universe, that's what we call the ice in Bolshoy Goloustny in winter, look at it: there are millions of bubbles here, it's really something cosmic!
Duration of the tour: 6-7 hours, lunch during the tour (picnic).
We return to Listvyanka and go to Irkutsk.
Supper.
Overnight in Irkutsk.

Day 3 - Olkhon Island is the heart of Lake Baikal
Breakfast.
We are going to Olkhon Island – in the Heart of Lake Baikal.
We admire the Siberian expanses – fields, taiga, the Martian landscape of the Tagheran Steppes.
We will have several stops along the way, during which you will learn: what is burhanit, why is the monument to the Eagle located in the Tazheran Steppe, what is the Tramp singing about.
Lunch at a cafe of Buryat cuisine.
Departure to the ice crossing, here we will definitely make a stop, admire the ice of the Small Sea.
Arrival in the village of Khuzhir, accommodation at the hotel.
After that, we go on a walking tour of the village of Khuzhir.
The most sacred attraction of Lake Baikal – Cape Burkhan is waiting for us.
It is covered with legends and unusual stories.
This cape is one of the most energetically powerful places of Lake Baikal and one of the 9 shrines of Asia. Cape Burkhan, or as it is also called – Shamanka Rock – has a powerful energy, and since ancient times this place has been treated with reverence.
For example, women and children were forbidden to approach the rock. And the men, passing by the rock, necessarily jumped off the horse, and put leather bags on their hooves.
All this in order not to disturb the local and most important spirit on the island of Olkhon – Haan Hute-baabai.
On an excursion to Cape Burhan, you will learn local legends about how the religion of Shamanism originated and what role nature plays in the life of the local population.
Here you will have the opportunity to walk around the site and admire the cape on one side, and the sandy Sarai beach stretching for 3 km on the other.
Ice skating on the largest ice rink in the world (you can bring your own skates or rent them at the rental point).
Supper.

Day 4 - To the northernmost part of the island – Cape Khoboy
Breakfast.
Today we are waiting for one of the most interesting, amazing and popular excursions on Lake Baikal – an excursion to Cape Khoboy!
Khoboy is the northernmost tip of Olkhon Island, a sacred place, where power and strength are felt.
We have a unique opportunity to see it from the Baikal side, drive up to its foot.
We will have several stops along the way, during which we will see ice caves, splashes, sokui, as well as Baikal hummocks and blue ice.
If we see the Baikal ice expanses, then why do thousands of people go to Lake Baikal every year!
Lunch – picnic in the fresh air, during which you will taste the Baikal fish soup and the Kiss of Lake Baikal!
Return to the hotel, dinner

Day 5 - Return to Irkutsk and flight home
We wake up early in the morning and go to meet the dawn (optional).
The sunrises and sunsets here are simply extraordinary, the sun paints the ice in bright colorful colors.
We have breakfast, pack our bags and leave for Irkutsk.
Our journey has come to an end, it has been an incredible 5 days, a sea of emotions and impressions!
Our bus will take you to the city center, railway station and airport.
Attention: arrival in Irkutsk is approximately after 16:00, if your flight departs in the morning, we recommend booking an additional night in Irkutsk.
