Lake Baikal is one of the seven wonders of Russia, a unique lake covered with legends and traditions. We invite you to travel around the southern part of Lake Baikal: we will walk along the protected trail of the Baikal Nature Reserve, visit the Buddhist datsan and the Olkhon paddy, swim in thermal springs. We will admire the wild and pristine nature of Lake Baikal, its sunsets and endless expanse of water!

The tour is also held on any date on an individual request.

Day 1 - Group meeting
Meeting at the airport, railway station, or hotel in Irkutsk.
Transfer to the city of Baikalsk.

Day 2 - Eco-park "Warm Lakes" on Snezhnaya
Excursion to the Warm Lakes eco-park on the Snezhnaya River.
A walk along the picturesque forest trail along the lakes, outdoor recreation.
Lunch is a picnic.
Return to Baikalsk.

Day 3 - Free day in Baikalsk
Free day in Baikalsk.
The opportunity to walk around Baikalsk and its surroundings, relax in nature or choose an additional excursion.

Day 4 - Excursion to the Tunka Valley
Excursion to the Tunka valley, Arshan village (Republic of Buryatia).
A walk along the eco-trail to the waterfall. Visit to the Buddhist datsan and mineral springs.
Stop at a cafe of Buryat cuisine for an independent lunch.
Return to Baikalsk in the evening.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner.

Day 5 - Departure to Listvyanka
Transfer from Baikalsk to Irkutsk.

Excursion to the picturesque open-air park-museum of Taltsy.
A unique architectural and ethnographic complex, on the territory of which you can plunge into the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Baikal region.
Return to Listvyanka.

Free day in Listvyanka.

Day 9 - Cape Khoboy and northern Olkhon
An excursion trip with a driver-guide on an off-road UAZ in the northern part of the island of Olkhon.
Visit Cape Hoboy and the main attractions of the island.
A trip with stops and hiking in the national park, a hot picnic lunch.
Return to the campsite.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The trip is unaccompanied by a guide.
Total duration: approximately 6 hours.
Day 10 - Free walk around Olkhon
Free day on Olkhon.
The opportunity to walk around Khuzhir and its surroundings, relax in nature or choose an additional excursion.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner.
Day 11 - Cape Kobylya Golova and southern Olkhon
An excursion trip with a guide driver in a UAZ SUV along the southern part of Olkhon Island.
Visit Cape Kobylya Golova and the most picturesque bays of the island.
A trip with stops and hiking in the national park, a hot picnic lunch.
Return to the base.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The trip is unaccompanied by a guide.
Total duration: approximately 6 hours.
Day 12 - Arrival in Irkutsk
Departure from Olkhon Island, arrival in Irkutsk.
Stop on the way at the Buryat cafe.

Campsite "Inhabited Island"

The Inhabited Island Guest House is located on Lake Baikal (70 km from Irkutsk), in the village of Listvyanka (Krestovaya Pad). The very good and convenient location of the house allows you to enjoy the absence of human fuss, the forest, the river, a beautiful view of Lake Baikal and at the same time be in the very center of the village.

The guest house is a wooden cottage with all amenities:

on the ground floor there are 2 and 4-bed economy class rooms. The concept of these rooms implies that the toilet and shower are located in the hallway.
on the second floor there are 1, 2 and 3 bed superior rooms. This means that the toilet and sink are located in the room, and the shower is on the floor.
on the third floor there is a fully equipped kitchen: stove, refrigerator, microwave, plates-cups-spoons-mugs-forks. Here you can cook a meal. Next to it is a cozy hall with panoramic views of the whole area. This is a place to relax and socialize with other travelers, where you can read, watch movies or take photos of yourself on the big screen.
