  • Day 1 - On the way to Olkhon. Iconic sights

Our guide is a faithful companion for the entire trip, he will meet you at the Irkutsk airport, and after a short acquaintance we will hit the road.

Our goal will be the island of Olkhon, an item on the wish list of every tourist on Lake Baikal. On the way, we will stop at a local cafe and start exploring the colorful Baikal cuisine.

The first dish that you will discover is traditional bouzas with a history of more than one hundred years.

When we cross from the mainland to the island and check into the hotel, we will arrange the first research trip to the iconic Olkhon locations.

We will see the Sarai beach, 13 sacred pillars and the sacred Shamanka rock.

And "for sweets" – a breathtaking Baikal sunset.

How can you be so sure?

Olkhon Island is one of the sunniest places on the planet, so sunsets here emit rich colors and magical light.
