The winter world of Olkhon

On the second day of the tour, you will feel a special energy, because we will visit the place of power – Cape Khoboy. 

The cape is a stunning observation deck on the widest part of the lake. 

Standing in the face of a breathtaking panorama, you seem to dissolve into the elements, become a part of it, receive its primordial power.

After a sincere contact with nature, a hearty and delicious picnic lunch will follow, and on the way back. 

And a few bright expressive locations on the way back will complement the journey with the right notes. 

Hummocks shining in the sun, powerful rocky capes, bays covered with a blanket of soft snow-white snow have long fascinated crowds of tourists and have become iconic images of winter Olkhon.

After an eventful walk, we will return to the hotel, have dinner and gather again to enjoy fragrant herbal tea together and share our accumulated emotions with each other.

Today, new unique experiences will appear in your travel experience, which not everyone can experience.

First, we will take a course to the south of the island. 

Here we will be greeted by a sight that seems to have descended from the pages of the fairy tale “Frost”: moisture, settling, froze on the coastal rocks and thereby created incredible icy images, complemented the grottoes and caves with “crystal” decor. 

Let's take a series of rare photos and go further to the island of Ogoy.

On this deserted island, we will approach the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment. 

The unusual snow-white structure symbolizes the unity of the forces of nature, and each element of the structure is identified with one or another element. Its purpose is to protect the region from negative energy.

After getting acquainted with the stupa, we will invite you to take part in an unusual ritual that fulfills your most cherished desires. 

The island itself will also attract your attention. One of its sides is called the Dragon's Claw: an unusual silhouette framed by icy splashes invariably causes a storm of emotions.

Having come into contact with the spiritualized Buddhist culture and the virgin winter beauty, we will return to the hotel to relax and have a hearty dinner.

The last day of the trip is no reason to be sad, we are waiting for another portion of the beautiful!

Sunrises on Olkhon are no less captivating than sunsets, but their shades are softer, more gentle, affectionate. 

After that, you will have time for leisurely packing and a delicious breakfast. 

The program will end when we return to Irkutsk.
