Itinerary

Day 1 - On the way to Olkhon. Iconic sights
We will meet you at Irkutsk airport and after a short acquaintance with the guide, a faithful companion for the entire trip, we will hit the road.
We will go to Olkhon Island, a must–have item on any tourist's wish list on Lake Baikal.
On the way, we will make a stop and visit a local cafe to start exploring the colorful Baikal cuisine.
The first dish that you will appreciate will be traditional bouzas, which have a history dating back hundreds of years (not included in the price).
After crossing from the mainland to the island and checking into the hotel, our first exploration trip will be waiting for us.
We will visit the iconic locations of Olkhon: the famous Shamanka Rock, 13 sacred pillars and Sarai beach.
The guide will tell you how the islanders' way of life differs from the daily routine on the mainland.
And "for dessert" – a juicy Baikal sunset.
If you didn't know, Olkhon Island is one of the sunniest areas on the planet, so sunsets here are full of rich colors and light.

Day 2 - Trip to Cape Khoboy
You will remember today with a special energy, because we will go to a place of power – Cape Khoboy. What is this location famous for?
The northern tip of the island is a stunning viewing platform for the widest part of the lake.
When a person is at the cape, a breathtaking panorama opens up in front of him. The element seems to absorb him, making him its part, endowing him with primordial power.
After an audience with nature, you will have a hearty and delicious picnic lunch, followed by a return trip.
By the way, a road with several spectacular photogenic locations will be an additional spice on this journey.
Hummocks sparkling in the sun, mighty rocky capes, and bays dusted with soft, snow-white snow have long won the hearts of the guests and have become the hallmarks of winter Olkhon.
After dinner, after returning to the hotel, we will gather together over a cup of fragrant herbal tea and share our accumulated emotions with each other.

Day 3 - A day on the island of Ogoy. Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment
On the third day of the tour, your tourist piggy bank will be filled with new unique experiences that not everyone can experience.
First we will go to the south of the island.
Here we will see a fascinating fairy-tale sight: frozen moisture has created icy images on the coastal rocks, decorated grottos and caves with "crystal".
Let's take a series of extraordinary pictures and go on to Ogoy Island.
On this small uninhabited island, we will ascend to the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment.
After enjoying the sight of the unusual structure to your heart's content, you will take part in a ritual during which you will make your innermost wishes.
The island itself is of no less interest.
One of its sides is called the Dragon's Claw: its unusual shape, framed by icy splashes, invariably attracts admiring glances.
After touching the spiritual Buddhist culture and the pristine winter beauty, we will return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and relax.

Day 4 - Returning home
The last day of the trip is no reason to be sad, we are waiting for another portion of the beautiful!
Let's wake up early and meet the dawn.
Sunrises on Olkhon are no less captivating than sunsets, but their shades are softer, more gentle, and affectionate.
After that, you will have time for leisurely packing and a delicious breakfast.
The program will end when we return to Irkutsk.

The number of rooms at the campsite offers guests accommodation in comfortable double cabins with all amenities.

The location is next to a small pine forest. Double rooms with their own shower and toilet. Towels are provided. There are no personal hygiene products, there is no TV.

It's important to know

So, clothes: the main rule is to dress in layers, like a pie. This will delay the release of heat and prevent the cold from reaching your body.

A windproof hat, a hat with earflaps, or a combination of a hat + a jacket hood.
Buff or scarf (to protect the neck).
A warm down jacket that protects the lower back and will not blow in the wind.
Fleece jumper.
Thermal underwear designed for low activity at -25.
Warm ski / down pants, or a jumpsuit.
Wool socks + cotton (the principle of layers also works here).
Windproof gloves + mittens.

Footwear:

Boots with natural or artificial insulation, designed for -25 and below.
You can use: felt boots, boots, camus boots, ugg boots, moonwalkers, dutiki

Additionally:

Chemical heating pads / insoles for feet and hands (insoles and other heating elements containing charcoal must not be carried. Neither in the luggage, nor in the hand luggage. They will be seized, because coal is highly flammable).
Ice floats / ice shoes for smooth movement on slippery ice and hummocks.
Sunglasses are a must.
A sunscreen with a high degree of protection is a must.
The lipstick is hygienic.
Powerbank (for a fast-discharging phone in the cold).
