Itinerary

Day 1 - Olkhon Island, Cape Burkhan
In the morning, we will meet you at 09:30 at the railway station or Irkutsk airport, then we will take a minibus to Olkhon Island.
In 4 hours we will reach the village of Sakhyurt, where we will board the ferry.
We get to the island through the Olkhon Gate Strait.
Arrival in the village of Khuzhir.
Accommodation, free time for a short rest.
Sightseeing tour to Cape Burkhan (Shamanka Rock), one of the nine shrines of Asia, a sacred place of the island's indigenous Buryat people.
Supper.
Meals included: dinner.

Day 2 - Cape Khoboy
After breakfast, we will go on a tour to Cape Khoboy, the northernmost point of the island.
Along the way, we will stop at the most interesting places.: Cape Budun, Sandy tract, Cape Sagaan-Khushun.
On Khoboy, you will see the vast expanses of Lake Baikal, which merge with the horizon.
The amazing beauty and power of these places will not leave you indifferent!
After a picnic at the edge of the forest, we will continue on our way to the peak of Love.
Return to the hotel, dinner.

Day 3 - South of Olkhon Island
Breakfast.
An excursion to the southern part of the island, from where you can see Lake Baikal (the so-called section of Lake Baikal between Olkhon and Buryatia).
A quiet walk through the forest to the shore of Lake Baikal will allow you to see all the splendor of autumn colors.
Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 4 - Free day
You have a free day today.
You can just walk along the shore of Lake Baikal or rent a bike and ride around the island.
You can also ride a horse and take a steam bath in the Siberian sauna in the evening!

Day 5 - Return to Irkutsk
Your little trip to Lake Baikal has come to an end!
After breakfast and packing, you will be transferred to Irkutsk (Kirov Square, estimated arrival from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.).

It is located on the island of Olkhon in the picturesque area of the village of Khuzhir, 150 m from Lake Baikal. Due to the excellent location of the hotel, the most significant attractions of the island are within walking distance for tourists – Shamanka Rock and Sarai beach, as well as all the necessary infrastructure: cafes, shops, souvenir shops, etc.

The rooms are decorated in a rustic style and offer views of Lake Baikal, the beach and the coniferous forest. It offers a cafe with panoramic lake views and free Wi-Fi. The accommodation offers 2-bed Standard rooms (with shower and toilet in the room) and 2-3-bed Economy rooms (shower and toilet on the floor for 4 rooms).

The rooms are located in wooden buildings and are heated in winter (central heating), furnished with comfortable, cozy furniture.: two single beds or one double bed, desk, chairs, wardrobe, mirror, TV. The 3-bed rooms have an extra single bed.

The organization of the tour was excellent from start to finish. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally, from the airport pickup and transfers to the island crossing, hotel check-in, and departures for excursions. Everything ran right on schedule. The hotel was warm, clean, and comfortable, and the food was very good throughout the trip. I really enjoyed the itinerary overall. The only part that felt a bit challenging was the trip to Cape Three Brothers. The drive there in the UAZ vans was quite long, and by the end of the day everyone was understandably tired from being on the road. A special thank-you goes to the drivers, who did a fantastic job and even provided us with hot lunches during the excursions. I would also like to thank our guide, Oksana, for her engaging stories, professionalism, and genuine care for the group. Overall, I came away with a very positive impression of the trip. Thank you, and I wish you continued success!
