Day 1 - Memorial "In honor of the Heroes of the Battle of Kursk", M. S. Shchepkin Historical and Theatrical Museum

09:00 Departure for an excursion to the memorial museum "In honor of the heroes of the Battle of Kursk" (30 km).
The memorial complex "In honor of the Heroes of the Battle of Kursk" was created on a plot of 5.25 hectares and includes: a stele, a hall of military glory, a mass grave, an Eternal Flame, a monument to tankers, a firing position of gunners, an anti-tank cannon of the full cavalier of the Order of Glory, senior Sergeant A.D. Azarov, who defended this height, the Alley of Heroes, the chapel of St. George.
12:00 Excursion to the Historical and Theatrical Museum of M. S. Shchepkin.
Mikhail Semyonovich Shchepkin is an outstanding Russian actor, the founder of realism in Russian stage art.
The museum contains personal belongings of the actor's family, furniture, and photographs.
The museum complex also includes a reconstructed peasant manor of the XIX century.
Lunch at the cafe.
15:00 Return to Belgorod.

Day 2 - III Military field of Russia

09:00 Departure for an excursion to the III Military Field of Russia — Prokhorovskoye.
The Battle of Prokhorovka was a battle between units of the German and Soviet armies during the defensive phase of the Battle of Kursk.
During the tour, you will get acquainted with such monuments on the "tank field" as: the Victory Monument — Belfry, an exhibition of equipment and weapons from the Great Patriotic War with an entrance inside, a monument to V.M. Klykov, a sculptural composition "Great commanders of the three battlefields of Russia".
And also visit the museum of armored vehicles.
The main purpose of the exhibition is to recreate the full picture of the development and history of tank construction from the period of antiquity and the Middle Ages to the present day and the new museum "Battle for the Weapons of the Great Victory".
This museum is the country's largest repository of memory of the great and tragic days associated with the large—scale evacuation of enterprises and people from the frontline zone into the interior of the country.
The exposition reveals the heroic page of the feat of the people, makes it possible to understand how great the price of Victory is.
Visit to the church in the name of Saints Peter and Paul.

In 1727-1779, the city was the center of the Belgorod province, which included cities such as Orel and Kharkov (the latter only until 1765 and only in civil administration, since it itself was the administrative center of the Sloboda regiments).
Today Belgorod is a city with a developed infrastructure, a scientific, cultural, economic and spiritual center of the Central Chernozem region and Russia.
12:00 Visit to the Fire Arc diorama.
The artistic idea of Europe's largest diorama is based on the tank battle of Prokhorovka on July 12, 1943, the victory in which became a turning point in the defense of the Kursk salient.
13:00 Lunch at the cafe.
Transfer to the railway station.
