Itinerary

Day 1 - Nevinnomyssk — Dombay village
Meeting at the railway station of Nevinnomyssk, 8:00.
Transfer to Dombay village.
On the way we visit the Shumka waterfall.
There is a 1 km walk through the spruce forest.
We check into the hotel.
Free time.
You can walk around the village, get acquainted with the local cuisine.

Day 2 - Alibek Gorge, Alibek waterfall and Turye Lake
Today you will travel to the valley of the Alibek River to the glacier of the same name, waterfall, alpine camp and Turi lake.
This route is the hallmark of Dombay resort.
On the way we will visit the old cemetery of climbers.
Alibek waterfall is the most picturesque of the Dombay valley, the glacier is the lowest and most accessible in the vicinity of Dombay, and Turye Lake conquers with its emerald water.
Departure for the route is 9:00.

Day 3 - Amanauz River Valley and Devil's Mill Canyon
Day three is an easy day.
We are going to the mystical world of the Devil's Mill Canyon and the Sufrudzhinsky waterfalls.
A comfortable path from a deep gloomy gorge leads us to alpine meadows, where the sun is shining brightly and streams of streams are silvering.
The Sufrudzhinsky waterfalls fall down from the stone wall in a powerful stream, carrying icy streams of glacial water into the Amanauz River.
Going back along the approach path.
The total duration of the hike is about 5 hours.

Day 4 - Baduk Lakes and Teberdinsky Nature Reserve
The most beautiful day of our trip.
Check-out at 9:00.
We are waiting for the Baduki — Baduk lakes, the pearls of the Teberdinsky Nature Reserve with turquoise water and a picturesque trail among century—old pine trees.
Don't forget your photography equipment.
Return to the car on the approach route.
Transfer to the hotel.
Rest.

Day 5 - Car tour to the village of Teberda
An easy day.
Car tour to the village of Teberda.
The aviary complex of the Teberdinsky Nature Reserve, the mountaineering museum and a trip to the romantic temples on the rocks — Sentinsky (village of Nizhny Teberda) and Shaoninsky (village named after Kosta Khetagurova).
Satisfied with the beautiful photos, we return back to Dombay.

Day 6 - Juchhur Waterfall
Exit at 9:00.
A simple hike to the Russian glade to the Juchhur waterfall.
We are accompanied by the stone caps of the mountains, white peaks and the green fluffy slopes of the surroundings of Ptysh.
After the rest, take a ride on the Moussa-Achitara Mountain cable car (extra charge).

Day 7 - Teberdinsky narzan and departure
Room release.
Check-out at 9:00.
On the way, we'll take a look at the Teberdinsky narzan, a simple hiking route along a dirt road along a picturesque river.
There will be no sudden sets and descents.
A smooth path-road will lead you to a bowl of healing water.
Return along the approach path.
Those who wish can rent an ATV.
Transfer to Nevinnomyssk.
Arrival around 18:00.

I’m incredibly grateful to the tour operator Big Country for organizing my hike to the Dzitaku Lakes. I really appreciated how quickly the managers responded to all my questions, and how clearly and professionally they prepared the full set of documents. From start to finish, the managers stayed in touch and supported me throughout the entire journey. Since there wasn’t a group available for the original tour, the company slightly adjusted my route and joined me with another group heading to the Bzerpinsky Ledge. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Big Country works with highly skilled and professional instructors. Our guide, Pavel, was incredibly friendly, positive, and attentive to every participant. He organized the group’s pace and movement so well that it really helped us save time and energy.
