To celebrate the New Year in the Caucasus means not only to admire its beauties, but also to discover the wonders of this region.

You will see the ancient village of Dzivgis and the modern phoenix city of Grozny, get acquainted with Ossetian traditions and cuisine at the "Alan Evening" and visit Vladikavkaz - a place reminiscent of a Caucasian village with a real national flavor.

And the trip will end with a climb to Elbrus and a visit to Mount Cheget, which offers views of Elbrus and Donguz-Orun.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Dzivgis, the Alan Monastery and the "Alan Evening"
Early departure from Pyatigorsk (approximately at 07:30).
Departure for the "Secrets of ancient Iriston" tour
The ancient village of Dzivgis stands on the left bank of the Fiagdon River, at the very beginning of the Kurtatinsky (Fiagdonsky) gorge.
Dzivgis is home to one of the most famous and amazing sights of North Ossetia: the rocky (cave) fortress.
Lunch (included in the price).
We visit the Alan Monastery, the highest mountain monastery in Russia.
One of the main shrines of Ossetia, the Miraculous Icon of the Mozdok Iveron Mother of God, a gift from Queen Tamara to the people of Ossetia, is kept here.

Departure to the Alan Evening feast (included in the price of the tour).
It's time to get acquainted with the Ossetian traditions, cuisine, music and dances of this amazing republic of the Caucasus!
A national evening with an Ossetian feast, the main ritual of the Alan cult: the great prayer feast – KUVD.
After dinner, a spectacular continuation of the evening awaits you.
The history and culture of the Ossetian people will be revealed through stories, prayer toasts, poems, performances by vocalists and musicians.
You will hear the sounds of national musical instruments, from the melodies of the Ossetian accordion to the sparkling douli rhythm.
You will admire the professional performance of the Caucasian Lezginka and the traditional mass Alan dance Simd.
And at the end of the evening, a fun disco awaits the participants, where you can dance to your heart's content.

Day 2 - Grozny and Vladikavkaz
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Grozny.
A tour of Grozny involves getting to know the history of the city, its development in the 20th century and getting to know modern Grozny.
A sightseeing tour of the capital of the Chechen Republic includes a visit to the Republican Museum of Local Lore, the Kadyrov Museum, the Heart of Chechnya Mosque and the Church of Archangel Michael.
You will see the monument to firefighters, modern quarters of Grozny and the famous skyscrapers of Grozny City.
Lunch at a cafe (included in the price of the tour).
In the city of Shali, we visit Europe's largest mosque, the Pride of Muslims.
The mosque is twice the size of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
Transfer to Vladikavkaz, city tour.
It stretches right at the very foot of the Caucasus Mountains, along the banks of the swift and wayward Terek River.
Its straight, verdant streets seem to rest against snow-capped, majestic mountains.
Vladikavkaz gives the impression of a serene Caucasian village with its unique national flavor and tranquility.

Day 3 - Elbrus, Elbrus and Mount Cheget. Departure

Everyone who has ever been to Kabardino-Balkaria has felt the incredible power of one of the most beautiful and majestic mountains on our planet — Elbrus!
The road runs along the Baksan Gorge, crossing the Baksan River several times and leading to the foot of Mount Elbrus.
The bus route ends at the village of Terskol in the Azau clearing.
The ascent to Elbrus begins from it.
The tour program includes a visit to Mount Cheget.
Mount Cheget offers a beautiful view of Elbrus and Donguz-Orun.
Transfer to Pyatigorsk.
Completion of the tour.
Cable cars in the Elbrus region for an additional fee – 2,500 rubles/ person/ all queues (900 rubles/ person/ to Cheget, 1,600 rubles/ person/ to Elbrus), environmental fee in the Elbrus region — 200 rubles/ person.
