Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival. Dzivgis, the Alan Monastery and the "Alan Evening"

    Early departure from Pyatigorsk (approximately at 07:30).

    Departure for the excursion "Secrets of ancient Iriston"

    The ancient village of Dzivgis stands on the left bank of the Fiagdon River, at the very beginning of the Kurtatinsky (Fiagdonsky) gorge. 

    Dzivgis is home to one of the most famous and amazing sights of North Ossetia: the rock (cave) fortress.

    Lunch (included in the price).

    We visit the Alan Monastery, the highest mountain monastery in Russia. 

    One of the main shrines of Ossetia, the Miraculous Icon of the Mozdok Iversky Mother of God, a gift from Queen Tamara to the people of Ossetia, is kept here.

    Departure to the feast "Alan evening" (included in the price of the tour).

    It's time to get acquainted with the Ossetian traditions, cuisine, music and dances of this amazing republic of the Caucasus!

    A national evening with an Ossetian feast, the main ritual of the Alan cult: the great prayer feast – KUVD. 

    After dinner, a spectacular continuation of the evening awaits you. 

    The history and culture of the Ossetian people will be revealed through stories, prayer toasts, poems, performances by vocalists and musicians. 

    You will hear the sounds of national musical instruments — from the melodies of the Ossetian accordion to the sparkling rhythm of dooley. 

    You will admire the professional performance of the Caucasian Lezginka and the traditional mass Alan dance Simd. 

    And in the final, the participants of the evening will have a fun disco, where you can dance a lot yourself.

    Return to the hotel.
