Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting, trout farming, Sulak canyon
Meeting of the group at the airport of Makhachkala.
The recommended arrival time is before 12:00.
Group transfers:
Uytash airport;
railway station, Makhachkala;
The Capital Hotel, Makhachkala.
Our journey will begin with an acquaintance with the Sulak Canyon, the hallmark of Dagestan.
First of all, it is customary to feed a guest in the Caucasus, our lunch will be held at a trout farm, where we will be offered delicious trout or shish kebab to choose from.
Next, our way lies to the village of Dubki, it is here that a wonderful view of the Sulak Canyon opens.
We will visit one of the most interesting places in Dagestan – the Nokhyo cave complex, where the caves are united by a suspension bridge located on a hill above the Sulak River, on both sides of which there are viewing platforms from where unimaginable views open.
After enjoying the beauty and grandeur of the canyon, we descend to the Chirkeysky reservoir.
Boating on the waters of the Chirkei reservoir (for an additional fee) will charge us with positive emotions, which we will share on the way to the hotel.

Day 2 - Excursion program "New Year's Derbent"
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for the excursion program "New Year's Derbent".
Today we will get acquainted with the main Dagestan fortress – Naryn Kala with its mysteries, powerful walls, secret places and panoramic views of the city.
From the fortress we will go down to the streets of the Old City, look into the unusual Juma mosque.
You will see the underground baths, traditional for the East (Maiden baths), a place for ablution before the marriage ceremony (external inspection).
We will visit the Derbent market.
Let's take a walk along modern Avenue along the fortress wall.
Let's walk down the street of "Happy People" and make a wish.
We will finish the trip with the most delicious food in Dagestan — an immersive meal in the ethnodome: a feast-immersion in ethnic interiors with stories about the traditions and gastronomy of Southern Dagestan.
You will try dovga, dolma, chuda, baklava, isito and shah pilaf!
You will also have a master class on cooking a delicate miracle.
Over tea, we will share the most beautiful events of the outgoing year 2024 and make wishes!
Then we will walk along the most beautiful embankment.

Day 3 - Acquaintance with the life of a Caucasian family, Huchni, master class
Late breakfast.
Today is the day of immersion in the real Caucasian culture!
We will visit a Caucasian family in one of the mountain villages, get acquainted with the way of life and traditions of one of the many peoples of Dagestan.
We will find out what real Caucasian hospitality is and try the eco-cuisine of the Caucasus.
Transfer to Khuchni— the center of Tabasaran district of Dagestan.
Inspection of the Khuchna fortress of "Seven brothers and one sister".
The fortress is surrounded by numerous legends: all the legends say that the fortress was besieged several times, but it remained impregnable.
Let's take a walk to the unique picturesque place of "little Switzerland" — the Khuchninsky waterfall.
We will stay with a real Caucasian family, where they will treat us to a dinner of national dishes, teach us how to cook a "miracle" and show us a master class in carpet weaving.
Departure to Derbent with a stop for a photo shoot against the background of the legendary Caspian monster — "Lun" — the world's largest ekranoplan missile carrier.

Day 4 - Hunzakh, waterfall Tobot
Early breakfast in Dagestan.
Today we are going to the very heart of mountainous Dagestan at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level — Khunzakh!
We will see one of the highest waterfalls not only in mountainous Dagestan, but also in the entire territory of the North Caucasus — the Tobot Waterfall.
The waterfall adorns the Khunzakh plateau.
Next to the village of Khunzakh stretches the Tsolotlinsky canyon, into which three rivers fall in the form of waterfalls.
There is also an observation deck here — a stunning view opens from its height!
We will visit the village Mooch.
There we will see a picturesque mountain lake at an altitude of more than one and a half thousand meters above sea level, every winter the mountain lake on the outskirts of the village turns into an ice rink.
Let's have a delicious homemade lunch with beautiful views of the lake.
Relax on Lake Mochokh (winter cheesecake rides, ice skating, horseback riding, winter tea drinking from a samovar).

Day 5 - Makhachkala. Departure

Transfer to Makhachkala.
Let's get acquainted with Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan, the southern outpost of Russia.
Makhachkala is a young capital: the city is not even two hundred years old, but there is so much history stored here that it will be enough for many, many cities.
We will visit the observation deck in Tarki-Tau, which offers a beautiful view and the whole city appears in the palm of your hand.
We will visit the Juma Mosque.
We will have lunch at the national cafe with dishes of national cuisine.
We will visit the modern interactive museum "Russia is my story".
Let's walk along the embankment to the sound of the surf.
We will visit the famous market in Makhachkala.
After that, we go to the airport and go home!
Departure time from Dagestan is after 17:00.
