Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival. Excursion to Sulak canyon and Sarykum dune

Arrival at Makhachkala airport by morning flights.

    Group transfer at 12:00.

Departure for an excursion along the Sulak Canyon, whose height is 1920 meters, with a visit to the observation platforms of the Chirkeysky reservoir and the canyon itself.

It is often compared to the Grand Canyon in America — the Dagestan counterpart looks no less impressive, while it has even greater depth.

A visit to the observation deck will allow you to fully appreciate the beauty of the canyon and feel its impressive size.

    Lunch (included).

Today you will also see the Sarykum dune, one of the highest in the world: its height is more than 250 meters, and the size and shape of the peaks are constantly changing at the will of the winds.

Transfer to Makhachkala, check-in at a 4* hotel.

    Dinner (on your own).
