The attraction of Elbrus. Trekking tour

After a hearty breakfast, we will go to the Maiden Spit waterfall, one of the business cards of the Elbrus region. 

Our route passes through the forest, you can fully inhale the aroma of pine needles and herbs. 

If you're lucky, you can see mountain tours or chamois along the way. 

Halfway there, you will see panoramas of the Kogutai mountain range, the Donguz-Orun valley, the Semerka glacier, Nakratau, Cheget and even the silhouette of the majestic Elbrus. 

You will have the opportunity to take stunning photos against the background of peaks and bizarre basalt walls that formed from solidified magma during the eruption of Elbrus thousands of years ago.

It's time to take a break, we will have a picnic with views of the peaks.

Our path lies further, at an altitude of 3127 m to the high-altitude observatory of Terskol Peak, it is from here that the best view of the main Caucasian ridge opens.

We will be at the hotel by 17:00, where you can relax and have a hearty dinner.

Terskol translates as the "wrong" gorge, and it is wrong because it leads nowhere. 

The gorge ends with a huge glacier hanging from the rocks, there is no way beyond the glacier. 

But there is a waterfall here: it breaks off from the rocks with a powerful jet, filling everything with noise and showering stones and flowers with moisture. 

Turn around and admire — against the background of alpine meadows, the snow-white peaks of Donguz-Orun rise with a "Seven" on their side, Covered with an ice cap.

In June and July, you can see the flowering of rhododendrons here, in the summer there are many berries that you can enjoy. 

It is with this view that we will have a picnic!

Today we will go on a prepared SUV or minivan on an exciting journey to the Baksan Gorge, visit the ancient crypt of Kamgut and learn its legend, see the turquoise lake Gizhgit, secret tunnels around, as well as the scenery for the filming of the film Bremen Town Musicians.

It was here, on the shore of Gizhgit, that the Troubadour's hut from the new film was located, here you can take a photo for memory, in the scenery left after filming. 

Next, we will find a glade of Narzans, where you can try real narzans shooting out of the ground.

The gorge of the Irik River is considered one of the most beautiful in the Elbrus region. 

But to enjoy its beauties, we will have to try — the first 2 km of our route awaits us a climb of almost 700 m from the village of Elbrus, past the Sand castles. 

But the remaining 5 km of the way we will enjoy beautiful views: the eastern peak of Elbrus, which opened in all its glory, the river Irik, flowing smoothly down into the gorge, fragrant pine forest, which is so pleasant to walk through in the summer heat.

And the most interesting thing awaits us at the end of the route — a small waterfall, a cozy clearing where we will stop and walk around the neighborhood. 

Gophers live in this clearing, you will have the opportunity to feed them, the guide will tell you how to feed the gopher so that he does not run away, the most fortunate gophers will get especially close.

All the way back we will see the snow-white pointed Shkhelda massif in the Adyl-Suu gorge. 

On the way back, before descending to the village, you can turn off the trail a little and drink a cold, invigorating and very tasty narzan.

Today we will get as close to Elbrus as possible.

You will take a cable lift to the Garabashi station at an altitude of 3,850 m and explore the panoramic views of the peaks of the Great Caucasian ridge and Elbrus. 

Here you can ride snowmobiles (for an additional fee). 

But that's not all, we will go even higher, to a height of 4,200 m, to shelter 11 — the famous hotel above the clouds, where climbers are accommodated before going out to conquer Elbrus.

Here you can feel the full power of the two-headed giant and take the best photos on the slope of Elbrus.

Today you will become conquerors of the peaks again. 

We start our journey from the lower station of the cable car, we will climb higher and higher, plunging into the Alpine zone. 

The famous Ai Cafe is located at 2,750 m.

Vysotsky and Vizbor have been here, and now you will too!

Next, we will climb to the top of Cheget, to a height of 3451 m, along the way you will see incredible views of the Seven glacier, double-headed Elbrus, and the turquoise lake Donguz Orun. 

If desired, you can have a snack here with delicious pies with berries, they are simply incomparable here.

After a hearty breakfast, we will comfortably take you to Mineralnye Vody Airport. 

Place and time of completion of the tour: village Azau, at 12:00 and at 16:00, transfer to Mineralnye Vody airport or railway station (approximately 4 hours).
