Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The museum-diorama "The Great Stand on the Ugra River". Sightseeing tour of Kaluga

    07:45 Gathering of the group at the metro station Yugo-Zapadnaya (the guide meets with a sign with the name of the tour at the entrance to the cafe "Tasty and dot" (two–storey building, Pokryshkina str., 2). In the subway: the last car from the center, after the glass exit doors - to the left (exit to Pokryshkina str.).

    8:00 Departure, travel tour. 

    The museum-diorama "The Great Stand on the Ugra River"

    The first museum complex in Russia dedicated to the military company of 1480.

    It was created on the initiative and works of the Kaluga Monastery of St. Tikhon's Deserts.

    The diorama Museum is located on the territory that in 1480 was occupied by troops who participated in the Great Stand on the Ugra.

    In addition to the diorama itself, the museum houses an exposition of other works dedicated to the theme of the liberation of Ancient Russia from the Mongol-Tatar yoke.

    Transfer to Kaluga.

    Sightseeing tour of one of the oldest cities in the Russian province, beautiful not only for its location, but also for its historical buildings, architectural monuments, operating temples associated with the stay of many great people of Russia.
