Day 1 - Sightseeing tour of Kaluga, the Goncharov House and the Paper Museum
07:45 Gathering of the group at the metro station Yugo-Zapadnaya (the guide meets with a sign with the name of the tour at the entrance to the "Tasty and dot" (two-storey building). In the subway: the last car from the center, after the glass exit doors — to the left, and to the left (exit to Pokryshkina Street).
08:00 Departure, travel tour.
The first point of our route is the Polotnyany Zavod Museum—estate. A tour of the ceremonial halls of the Goncharov house. A. Pushkin's wife, Natalia Goncharova, lived here, and the poet himself came.
You can stroll through the park, see the poet's favorite alley, gazebo and monument to Alexander Pushkin. At the beginning of the XVIII century, the ancestor of the family, Afanasy Abramovich Goncharov, founded a sailing and paper manufactory here. The paper mill has not stopped its work since its foundation. The Goncharov Estate is a unique example of an 18th-century estate, which organically includes factory buildings.
The BUZEON Museum is an interactive paper museum where you will have a unique opportunity to plunge into the 300-year history of paper production: from its inception to modern technologies. There are interactive whiteboards where you can study how ancient paper was made, and samples of this very paper.
The museum is located in an ancient 18th-century building, which once housed the Goncharov paper manufactory. At first, paper was a by-product of Pushkin's wife's relatives, then it was made from waste from sailing production. But in 1720, the factory began to operate as an independent company and has not stopped since.
Lunch. Transfer to Kaluga.
Kaluga. Sightseeing tour of one of the oldest cities in the Russian province, beautiful not only for its location, but also for its historical buildings, architectural monuments, operating temples associated with the stay of many great people of Russia.
Today, the city center is a famous monument of urban planning, because it managed to partially preserve the buildings of the XVIII century (charming streets with merchant houses and noble mansions).

Day 2 - Sightseeing tour of Tula and Tolstoy's Estate Museum
08:30 Breakfast in the hotel restaurant (buffet), room release.
09:00 Departure for the tour.
Arrival at the museum-estate of L.N. Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana".*
The tour "Traditions of the Russian manor", which will introduce the traditions of the estate life of the Tolstoy family.
Its route passes through the central part of the Yasnopolyansky nature reserve. Moving from one object to another, visitors will get acquainted with the history of the development of estates in Russia on the example of the estate of L.N. Tolstoy, landscape art, as well as the main stages of the creation of the architectural ensemble of the estate.
The group will be told about sports games in the Tolstoy family, the first school in the Kuzminsky Wing, and L.N. Tolstoy's economic activities.
In the final, those who wish can independently visit the grave of Leo Tolstoy in the Yasnopolyansky forest of the Old Order.
Lunch.
Transfer to Tula.
The city of craftsmen and gunsmiths is Tula. The sightseeing tour introduces historical and architectural monuments on the streets of the city, including the handsome Tula Kremlin and temples of the XVII-XIX centuries. The city has changed globally — the landscaped Embankment has been reopened, which now has a "Door to Moscow".
The tour will end with a visit to the shopping malls in the Kremlin, where you can buy Tula souvenirs and sweets.
Due to restrictions on visiting L. N. Tolstoy's House in the Yasnaya Polyana estate, in some arrivals it is possible to replace this object with an excursion to the Veresaev Memorial House Museum in Tula.
Excursion to the only preserved urban estate in Tula, the House-Museum of V. V. Veresaev, which opened on January 15, 1992. The exposition placed in it is dedicated to the life and work of Vikenty Vikentievich Veresaev (Smidovich), a writer, literary critic and Pushkin scholar (1867-1945), accurately conveys the spirit of that time.
