Kamchatka Autumn tour for 7 days

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure for an excursion to one of the most picturesque places of south Kamchatka.

Transfer to Vilyuchinsky pass with stops at the observation platforms.

You will see a panorama of the nearest volcanoes, deep valleys and landscapes characteristic of Kamchatka — mountain ranges, tundra vegetation. In good weather, you can enjoy views of the Vilyuchinsky volcano and neighboring peaks.

There is time for walking and taking photos.

Next, the group goes to the area of Summer springs, a natural geothermal field.

Here you will get acquainted with the manifestations of volcanic activity: steam emissions and fumaroles, mud boilers and warm earth, characteristic sulfur odors and colorful mineralized deposits.

Swimming is not provided on this day: the location is for sightseeing and educational purposes.

We will walk along an equipped trail with a guide who tells us about geothermal processes, the peculiarities of local vegetation (mosses, lichens, tundra shrubs) and the rules of safe movement in the area of natural springs.

Return to the hotel.

Rest, free time.

Breakfast.

Departure to the country kennel of sled dogs "Snow dogs".

In the nursery visit program:

• acquaintance with huskies and sled dogs, a story about the breeds and traditions of Kamchatka dog breeding;
• inspection of sleds, equipment, parking;
• socializing and photo session with dogs;
• an introductory tour about winter dog sledding tours and the peculiarities of kennel life.

After the tour, the group goes to the Zelenovskiye Ozerki thermal complex.

These are natural hot springs with equipped outdoor bathing bowls. On the spot, you can:

• swim in pools with thermal water of different temperatures;
• relax on the territory of the complex, use the infrastructure (changing rooms, recreation areas, etc.);
• take photos against the background of the forest and floating baths, feel the contrast of cool air and warm mineral water.

After a rest in the Zelenovsky Lakes— return to the hotel.

Free time.

The morning begins with a view of the "home" volcanoes that seem to frame the city.

After breakfast, the group sets off to explore Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the oldest city on the Pacific Ocean in Russia.

The tour takes place along the embankment of Avacha Bay: from here you can see the port, ships and silhouettes of hills descending to the water.

The monuments to the navigators, explorers and defenders of Kamchatka remind of the times when the first expeditions came here, and any access to the ocean was a small feat.

The guide tells how the city was born, how people live today surrounded by volcanoes, snow and winds.

One of the hills offers a panorama, for which many people go to Kamchatka: several volcanoes on the horizon, the city below, Avacha Bay, which looks like a giant amphitheater, and the endless sky.

There is time just to stand in silence, take photos and "try on" life on the edge of the world.

In the afternoon, transfer to Khalaktyrsky beach. The road gradually leads out of the city to the ocean, and now you can hear the steady roar of the surf.

Halaktyrka is greeted by black volcanic sand, heavy leaden sky and white foam waves. The contrast is so unusual that it feels like you're entering another world.

Here you can walk along the surf line, taste the sand by touch, breathe in the salty, humid air and watch how powerful ocean waves crash against the shore.

Halaktyrsky beach is not about swimming, but about feeling the scale and power of nature, when the ocean, wind and sky become almost tangible.

In the evening, the group returns to the hotel: after a busy day, it is especially pleasant to be warm, share your impressions and realize that this is just the middle of a trip to Kamchatka.

After breakfast, the group leaves the city and heads up towards the Avacha pass.

As the bus ascends, the scenery changes outside the windows.

With every kilometer, the silhouettes of the Avacha and Koryak volcanoes are becoming more and more clearly visible — those "domestic" giants that are considered the hallmark of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

At the foot of the Avacha volcano, the group drives up to a tourist base/shelter (the location may vary depending on the weather and road conditions).

It offers panoramic views of the volcanoes and the valley below.

The program of the day includes:

• a walk around the surroundings of the foot of the Avacha volcano on a non-steep route without climbing to the top;
• getting to know the characteristic volcanic landscapes: lava fields, cinder slopes, stone scree, tundra vegetation;
• time for photos with views of several volcanoes and the Kamchatka Range at once.

The route is designed for a wide audience: climbing is not carried out, the walk is introductory in nature and is suitable for people with normal physical fitness (areas with uneven surfaces, rocks and small ascents are possible).

A free day to relax in a comfortable mode or additional activities if desired.

What you can do at the hotel:

• use the infrastructure of the spa complex: outdoor and/or indoor swimming pool with heated water;
• relax in the room, get enough sleep, sort out the photos, and quietly enjoy the views of the hills and nature around;
• Spend time in the hotel's restaurant/cafe, try seafood and local cuisine.

Additional excursions can be booked on request and for an additional fee (for example, helicopter weather programs, fishing, etc. — the list depends on the season).

Please note that helicopter tours in Kamchatka are unsafe. This is evidenced by the aviation chronicles of 2024 and previous years. We recommend that you cancel the flight and consider other options for additional excursions.

Organized transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport.

There will be 2 transfers for departure from the hotel: at 09:30 and 12:30 (check-out time).

If possible, please take this point into account when purchasing tickets.

On the way, the guide summarizes the trip, answers questions, and, if necessary, helps with airport orientation (check-in, baggage).

For tourists with a later departure, a short independent stay in the city or a visit to the fish market for souvenirs and seafood is possible by agreement.
