Opening of Kamchatka in 10 days

After breakfast at the hotel, we get into an all-terrain vehicle and drive to the foot of the Avacha and Koryak volcanoes.

Initially, 20 km along a good road, then our way to the pass passes along the volcanic "Dry River" 17 km.

We make photo stops along the way.

We arrive at the mountain base, take a short break, get acquainted with the curious Kamchatka ground squirrels.

Then, enjoying the Alpine flowers, walk 3 km towards the pass.

Then a simple climb up Camel Mountain, and amazing photo opportunities open up before us.

With good visibility, 7 volcanoes can be observed from the Camel.

After enjoying the indescribable Kamchatka landscapes to our heart's content, we begin our descent towards the tourist shelter, where the most unforgettable lunch awaits us.

After lunch, we return to the hotel.

Along the way, exploring the shores of Avacha Bay and its constituent bays Malaya Lagernaya, Solovarka, Bolshaya Okeanskaya.

A short hike up Mayachnaya hill.

From a bird's-eye view, there is an amazing panorama of the Pacific Ocean, Avacha Bay, Vilyuchinsky volcano and the Three Brothers rocks, which are an official natural monument and a kind of symbol of Avacha Bay and the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Continuing the tour, we drive up to the rocky shore of Cape Mayachny, where the Petropavlovsk Lighthouse, the oldest on the Pacific coast, is located.

Tourists call this place "The Edge of the World". After feeling the breath of the ocean, we descend to the opposite side of Cape Mayachny, to the bay of the Boat. Here, the majestic "Three Brothers" rocks rise from under the water in front of our eyes.

According to legend, these brothers protected their village on the shore from a large ocean wave (Tsunami).

Next, we are looking for a secluded, windless place with a beautiful view of the Three Brothers for lunch.

After lunch, we return to the hotel.

Boat trip (5 hours) along Avacha Bay with access to the Pacific Ocean to O. The oldies.

After the tour, transfer to the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky hotel.

On this day we are going to the wild Malkin hot springs (130 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky).

Here, hot water, heated deep in the bowels of the Earth, flows freely to the surface, forming fonts of different temperatures.

The uniqueness of this place is that they are located on the left bank of the cold Klyuchevka river and lovers of bath procedures, after heating in hot water, can dive into the cold river.

On the way (90 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) we will make a stop in the village of Sokoch and get to the "Pie Paradise".

Here, king-sized pies with a variety of fillings win the stomachs and hearts of travelers from all over the world (pies are paid for independently).

But still, the main goal of today is rafting on one of the most beautiful and fish-rich rivers.

After swimming in the springs for another 20 km, we will arrive at a stationary tent camp on the banks of the Bystrica River.

Here we will have lunch with red fish soup.

After lunch, there is a briefing, those who want to go fishing pick up spinning rods (buy licenses on their own), and then 5-7 people are accommodated in large 5-6-meter inflatable raft boats.

During rafting, we often see bears walking along the shore and looking for their main prey — salmon.

The rafting takes place along a calm section of the river and therefore it is not necessary to wear hockey helmets, we will limit ourselves to life jackets.

The main essence of our rafting is relaxation and unity with the unique Kamchatka nature, although those who picked up spinning will surely think of something else.

Depending on the season, you can catch sockeye salmon, pink salmon, chum salmon, coho salmon, char, grayling, and trout on spinning.

We will stay on the river for about 3 hours.

At the end of the rafting, a car will be waiting for us and we will return to our hotel in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Transfer by off-road vehicle to Mutnovsky volcano, to Country hot springs (100 km).

After about 2 hours on the road, stop at the Vilyuchinsky pass (900 m above sea level).

From here you can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding volcanoes and mountain valleys.

After the pass, our path runs along a high-altitude plateau next to the Gorely volcano with its fantastic unearthly beauties.

At the beginning of the season, we cover the extreme stretch in front of the volcano on snowmobiles with comfortable passenger sleds (sleds).

Around the second half of July, the snow melts irrevocably and we smoothly transfer to specially prepared SUVs.

Along the way, the panoramas of the Vilyuchinsky volcano, the Gorely volcano, the Rocky and Dvugorby hills are indescribable in words.

Rhododendrons and other Alpine flowers are already in full bloom in the snow-free glades.

Once in the side crater, we enter the realm of steam, water, snow and noise.

Here we observe numerous boiling, noisy, soaring, bubbling, bubbling springs, small mud cauldrons and volcanoes.

Recently, the name "Mini Valley of Geysers" has been glued to this place.

Then we return to the car or snowmobile and have lunch surrounded by volcanoes.

We return to the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky hotel.

Transfer to Gorely volcano (90 km).

Then a simple climb (2.5–3 hours) along the trail on foot, and suddenly, with the words "Wow!" suddenly one of the volcano's craters opens up in front of us with a picturesque lake inside.

After enjoying the views, we move to the edge of the next crater.

Until 2010, there was also a lake of fantastic turquoise color, but after the start of the gas eruption, it disappeared.

Recently, this crater has started to fill with water again, and perhaps in a few years a lake will appear here again.

Then, those who wish will be able to climb to the top of the volcano 1829 meters above sea level.

There are wonderful views of neighboring volcanoes: Vilyuchinsky, Mutnovsky, Asacha, Opala, Lake Tolmachev, the caldera around the volcano, and with very good visibility we can observe the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Sea of Okhotsk on the other.

After walking around the volcano for a while, we begin the descent to the car (about 2 hours).

After the descent, we have lunch at the foot of the volcano.

After breakfast at the hotel, we leave for the area of the Vachkajec mountain range.

73 km on asphalt, 12 km on a dirt road, then 3 km through the forest on foot and we reach the mountain lake Tahkoloch, which is comfortably located in a small valley between two ridges.

After admiring the beautiful views, we continue along the stream with cascades of waterfalls from the purest spring water.

We continue to move upwards — and now we are in a mountain circus, surrounded by beautiful outlier rocks.

After taking a little walk around the mountain circus, we go to watch another masterpiece.

We go down, greeting the gophers evrazhek, who are already familiar to us, along the way.

We cross the river over the stones and approach the waterfall.

After watching how the water crashes down from a stone cliff, dividing into separate jets and many crystal drops when falling, feeling cool and washing with splashes of the purest water, we return to the car.

We have lunch with lunch boxes.

We return to the hotel.
