Day 3 -
Neighborhood tour
This day will be dedicated to one of three guided tours of the surrounding area.: "Kamenny Gorodok", Rocky peak or Pauzhetsky fumaral fields. The choice of program will depend on the weather conditions.
Rocky is a mountain with fumarolic formations more than 1000 meters high. From the top of the peak, in clear weather, there are fascinating views of the Kuril Lake.
"Stone Town" is a mysterious location that creates the impression of truly pristine, untouched nature. There are amazing limestone buildings with a bizarre shape.
The path to the fumarole fields will pass through the Pauzhetskaya GEOP, where we will get acquainted with its history and principles of operation.
The fumarole field itself consists of a multitude of steam springs, mud boilers and emissions resembling geysers. Here you can feel how the earth breathes.
