Autumn is a great time to take a breath after a hot summer and prepare for a cold winter. What could be better than spending a weekend with your family and good friends by the lake, surrounded by a golden-red forest.

Away from high-rise buildings and noisy highways, you can walk through the forest, relax in a warm Russian bath, admire a beautiful waterfall, get acquainted with huskies and deer, relax on the lake shore in a cozy gazebo.

For groups of 6 people or more, the tour can be held on any date between 09/17/2023 and 12/12/2023.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Petrozavodsk
We meet with the guide at the airport or at the railway station in Petrozavodsk.
We have breakfast in the cafe of the city "Buffet".
We are going on a sightseeing tour of the city.
We have a lot of places! We will visit the architectural ensemble of the Round Square, the Governor's Garden, Cathedral Square, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the embankment of Lake Onega.
After an exciting walk, we go to have a delicious meal in the only restaurant of national cuisine.
We are going to the Sandal Guest House.
We're checking in.
It's time to rest! Free time.
In your free time it is possible:
take a fishing rod and go fishing /cycling;
book a boat trip to Lychny Island;
visit the Belaya Gora Mountain Park;
Go on a quad bike safari;
take part in any of our excursion programs.
We have dinner and gain strength in front of the bathhouse!
We go to the sauna for a couple of hours, drink real Karelian herbal tea from the samovar!
A visit to the sauna can be reserved on any day of the tour, agreed upon at the time of booking.

Day 2 - Girvas Paleovolcano, Kivach Waterfall, husky and reindeer nursery
We're having breakfast.
We are going on an excursion.
We are getting acquainted with the Girvas Paleovolcano. A unique natural monument right in front of you, lava tongues and volcanic reliefs will conquer everyone!
The introduction of the Kivach Snowfall and the Nature Museum.
We are heading to the husky kennel and the reindeer.
In the nursery, we will get acquainted with Siberian and Alaskan huskies, learn a lot of interesting things about reindeer, their biology and maintenance, and treat them with their favorite delicacy — lichen yagel.
In case of adverse weather conditions, the tour will be replaced by a master class on cooking a national Karelian dish.
We are returning to the recreation center.
We're having lunch.
Free time.
Let's have dinner! The grill!
Day 3 - Last day, departure
We're having breakfast.
We're packing up. We are releasing the rooms.
We're leaving.
On this day, you can additionally order:
the program "Ruskeala Mountain Park" + retro train;
a trip to Kizhi Island (until October 10);
a trip to the Three Bears zoo complex;
a trip to the ethnic village of Rubchoyla with a master class on cooking Karelian national dishes and lunch;
motocross or quad bike safaris.

The cost of the tour:

25,190 rubles — adult with double occupancy;

20,250 rubles — children from 6 to 12 years old in the main place;

34,200 rubles — adult for single occupancy.

Additionally, it is possible to stay in a double glamp house, if possible, an additional fee of 2500 rubles / person.

The guest house has a large area consisting of 6 separate rooms, a kitchen, a large hall with a children's play area and a relaxation room.

The house is entirely made of wood, very eco-friendly and safe, equipped with video surveillance, fire and burglar alarms, fully complies with the highest modern quality standards.

The location of the house allows you not only to relax on the shore of Sandal Lake and the territory of the base, but also to make exciting trips to many Karelian attractions, since most of them are located near the base.

Camping (recreation center) "Sandal" is located in a picturesque corner of the Karelian territory, in a forest area on the shore of Lake Sandal.

The guest house has large and comfortable rooms for two with comfortable beds, wardrobes, dressers, TV, with balconies overlooking the lake or forest.

All rooms are equipped with bathrooms with a shower cabin, toilet, sink, hairdryer and heated towel rail.
