Transfer to the art object "Valley of Hares".
11:00-11:30 "Valley of the Hares" is a unique Karelian project, which has no analogues in the world.
You will see a rock with a lot of hares carved on it, the number of which increases every year. There are already quite a lot of them and they are all different — classic in profile and full face, dinosaur hare, deer hare and others.
A short stop for a simple climb up Sampo Mountain, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of Lake Conchesero.
In Karelo-Finnish mythology, a Sampo is a magical object that gives its owner happiness, strength and wealth.
Once in this place, you involuntarily begin to believe in the magic of nature: beautiful views open from the top, and you want to stay for a moment longer, peering into the outlines of the rocks, looking at the lake with dozens of small islands and listening to the mysterious noise of ancient pines.
This place gained its fame thanks to the film "Sampo", the scenes of which were filmed here.
The next stop is the Kivach Nature Reserve.
Kivach Waterfall is the most famous waterfall in Karelia, it has long become a local business card and attracts thousands of tourists every year.
People flock to Kivach to appreciate its power and strength, because it is the second largest plain waterfall in Europe. To hear the age-old movement of stormy water and learn the beautiful legend of the waterfall.
In the reserve you will see the famous Karelian birch and visit the small but cozy "Museum of Nature".
