A three—day tour to autumn Karelia is an opportunity to spend the November holidays immersed in a fairy tale and visiting a beautiful city in Northern Russia.

We will visit Talviucco, climb Mount Sampo, and walk around the crater of the Girvas volcano. We will also explore the Ruskeala Canyon, taste the waters from the healing springs and walk along the embankment of Petrozavodsk.

Day 1 - Petrozavodsk. Talviucco Ethnic Park: huskies and deer
08:00 Group meeting at Petrozavodsk railway station.
08:10 Breakfast.
08:30 Guided tour of the capital of Karelia: the history of the city and a walk along the embankment of Lake Onega with a tour of monuments and art objects.
11:00 Departure to the ethno-park on the Patrimony of Karelian Santa Claus – Talviukko.
Visit the largest sled dog kennel in Russia, where Alaskan huskies, Alaskan malamutes and Siberian huskies live and train.
A walk through the deer farm.
Inspection of Sami dwellings in the ethno-park.
Visit to the Residence of Karelian Santa Claus: meeting with Talviukko, The Seasons interactive space.
Optional dog and deer sledding at an additional cost.
15:00 Return to Petrozavodsk and check-in at the hotel.
Free time.

Day 2 - Marble Canyon of Ruskeala
07:00-07:30 Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00 Departure by bus to Ruskeala Mountain Park. The journey time is 3.5–4 hours.
On the way there are stops and a guide's story about the history of Karelia.
Visit to Ruskeala waterfalls on the Tohmojoki river. Optional – a walk along the eco-trail.
14:00 Arrival in Ruskeala and a walking tour of the Marble Canyon (duration – 1 hour).
15:00-17:00 Free time in the park.
17:00 Departure to Petrozavodsk. The journey time is 3.5–4 hours.
21:00 Arrival in Petrozavodsk.

Breakfast at the hotel and room release.
09:00 Guided tour.
Sampo Mountain with art objects and a beautiful view of the surroundings.
The first Russian resort of Marcial Waters, founded by Peter I. Tasting of healing water saturated with iron.
The town of Girvas and the remains of an ancient volcano.
Kivach Waterfall is a natural masterpiece, praised by poets, and a symbol of Karelia.
Stop for lunch at a cafe (self-paid).
17:00 Return to Petrozavodsk railway station.
