Itinerary

Day 1 - Sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk
Meeting at Petrozavodsk airport.
Transfer to Petrozavodsk.
Evening bus sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk + Walking tour of the unique open-air Museum of Modern Art (sculpture exhibition on the embankment of Lake Onega).
During the tour, you will get acquainted with the history of the city, as well as its modern appearance.
Accommodation in the selected hotel, standard rooms with amenities.
Check—in time at the hotel is after 15:00.

Day 2 - Kizhi Island
Breakfast in the hotel cafe.
Independent arrival at the pier of Petrozavodsk (Petrozavodsk embankment).
A trip by "comet" to Kizhi Island (1 hour 20 minutes on Lake Onega, 4 hours on the island).
Kizhi Island is the pearl of Zaonezhye, located among the Kizhi skerries.
The main attraction of the island is the museum of wooden architecture, in the center of which is the ensemble of the Kizhi churchyard.
During the tour of the island, you will visit a traditional peasant's house, learn a lot about Karelian crafts and traditions, listen to the bells and see one of the main Orthodox shrines of the Russian North — the Church of the Resurrection of Lazarus.
Return to Petrozavodsk.

Day 3 - Free day. Additional excursions
Breakfast in the hotel cafe.

Excursion to the Ruskeala + Valaam Mountain Park (duration 18-20 hours).
Early check-out. Lunch box breakfast.
Transfer to the Northern Ladoga region — Sortavala (250 km, 4 hours on the way).
On the way, visit the memorial "Poklonny Krest", established in memory of the Winter War.
Excursion to the Ruskeala Mountain Park — the famous marble canyon. The sheer marble walls of the canyon make a strong impression on visitors.
Transfer to the port of Sortavala.
Departure along Lake Ladoga to Valaam Island (45 minutes on the way by meteor, the program is complete on Valaam: stay on the island for 5 hours, walking programs).
A tour of the Central manor of the monastery and an excursion to one of the monasteries of the Valaam archipelago (according to the technical capabilities of the monastery):
Nikolsky Skete is one of the most beautiful skeets of Valaam.
"New Jerusalem" — the Resurrection Hermitage, Gethsemane hermitage, ascent to Mount Olivet to the Chapel of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Lunch in the monastery refectory (lenten).
Return to Sortavala.
Late arrival in Petrozavodsk
Excursion to the Ruskeala Mountain Park (duration 9 hours).
Departure to the most beautiful corner of Karelia — Ladoga region (transfer 250 km, 4 hours).
Inspection of the Tokhminsky or Ruskealsky waterfalls. The famous Soviet film "And the dawns are quiet here..." was shot here.
Ruskeala Mountain Park is the main attraction of Karelia, striking in its beauty at any time of the year.
The territory of the facility is extensive, and in the center is its business card – Marble Canyon.
Free time in the park after the end of the tour.
Return to Petrozavodsk.
Marcial Waters — Kivach — Girvas — Mount Sampo.
You will have a unique opportunity to taste the water in the first Russian resort "Marcial Waters".
A sample of water from the springs, a tour of the museum and the unique church of the Apostle Peter.
The mountain "Sampo".
It was here that the legendary Soviet fairy tale film "Sampo" was shot, based on the Karelo-Finnish epic "Kalevala". There is a wonderful panoramic view from the mountain.
