Day 1 - New Year's Petrozavodsk
Meeting at the Petrozavodsk railway station (train No. 018).
If you arrive earlier: Waiting for the arrival of the main group.
If you arrive later: transfer for an additional fee and program adjustments.
Breakfast in a cafe in the city.
Sightseeing tour of New Year's Petrozavodsk. You will get acquainted with the capital of Karelia. You will find out why Petrozavodsk was famous throughout the Russian Empire during the time of Catherine II, take a walk through the cozy center and see how successfully history and modernity combine in the appearance of the city.
Our region has long been famous for the magic instrument "kantele". His crystal sound is the music of the heroes of the epic "Kalevala".
We invite you to the "House of Kantele", where you will not only get acquainted with the instrument, but also hear it live. Guests will enjoy a dance program and interactive with the audience, dedicated to the traditions of the most beloved holiday.
We propose to continue our journey at the Governor's House. During the interactive tour, you will travel back in time to medieval Karelia and learn how the Yule holiday was celebrated.
You will visit the Karelian hut of the late 19th century and get acquainted with ancient rituals, tell fortunes on runes for the coming year.

Day 2 - Kindasovo village

Departure for a country trip.
We invite you to visit the amazing, ancient Karelian village of Kindasovo. The culture of the Karelian Ludiks and the peculiar Kindas humor are uniquely combined here.
Only here you can taste the ancient Karelian delicacy tönčöi, the taste of which you will never forget, treat yourself to real Karelian pies and fragrant tea with herbs!
You will hear the enchanting sounds of kantele and jouhikko, find out what eiga is, why Karel needs a big house and who is in charge of the village.
In the program:
a trip to the Karelian village;
getting to know the musical culture of Karelia;
Karelian tea party, tasting of the ancient dessert tönčöi with Kindasa's signature rustic moonshine;
New Year's village party (games, New Year's Kindasa fireworks, lighting of a non-Kremlin Christmas tree, speech by the Kindasa president and other fun).
Return to Petrozavodsk.

Day 3 - Free day or snowmobiling at Talviucco Residence

Day 4 - Free day or excursions to Ruskeala Mountain Park and Kizhi Island

Excursion to the Ruskeala Mountain Park with lunch.
Ruskeala is perhaps the most famous and visited modern attraction in Karelia.
Marble has been mined here for centuries, and today it is a mountain park, in the center of which there is an amazing canyon with steep silver walls.
You will have a pleasant walk around the artificial lake, with stops at observation decks and a story about interesting facts from the history of the quarry and marble mining.
Return to Petrozavodsk (the duration of the tour is ~ 12 hours).
Excursion to Kizhi Island through Zaonezhye.
Bus tour from Petrozavodsk to Velikaya Guba village. It will introduce you to interesting facts from the history of the region, its traditions, nature and notable places of the Zaonezhye region.

Day 5 - Kivach Waterfall
Breakfast in the hotel cafe
Departure to the sled dog kennel for the "Breath of the North" program: a tour of the kennel, feeding deer, dog sledding 2.5 km.
At the end of the program, we warm up with tea in the gazebo "grilled cat" by a live fire.
The duration of the program is ~ 2 hours.
Departure to the famous Kivach waterfall. Translated from Karelian, "kivach" means "snowy mountain", translated from Finnish — "powerful". In any case, this "powerful snow mountain" will not leave anyone indifferent.
At all times, poets have composed poems about the waterfall, artists come here for open-air performances, and how many photographers are attracted by the unique views of Kivach!
