A trip to the Center of shungite.
Shungite is a unique mineral that is mined in Karelia. The healing properties of this stone have been known for more than 300 years ago, and in the time of Peter the Great, a decree was issued according to which every soldier was ordered to carry a piece of shungite in his backpack.
On the tour, you will be told about its properties, shown the stone processing process, and treated to delicious Karelian tea.
Transfer to the Karjala Park tourist complex (30 km from Petrozavodsk).
One of the best husky kennels in Karelia is located here in Karjala Park. Each kennel dog has not only its own external features, but also its own character. But they have one thing in common — they are truly beautiful, powerful and incredibly kind dogs. Stroking and hugging them is not only possible, but also necessary!
You will hear an interesting story from a kennel instructor about the inhabitants of the kennel, learn the history of the breed, the peculiarities of breeding and maintenance. And after completing the safety briefing, take a ride on a dog sled.
The route (1 km) will pass through a flat area in a snow-covered pine forest along the banks of the Shuya River.
