Siberian Husky Kennel tour (near Ruskeala Mountain Park). You will be introduced to the history of the Siberian Husky breed, riding and the way of life of the peoples of the north.

There are currently 40 dogs living in the kennel. These are Siberian huskies and riding mestizos, they all work in a team. You can chat and take pictures with the dogs.

In addition to dogs, reindeer, foxes, raccoons, pigs, crows, owls, squirrels and rabbits live in the kennel.

There will be a New Year's program for the guests during the holidays.: a fabulous performance, games and contests with real Santa Claus, Baba Yaga and other characters.

After the performance, the guests will be able to take photos with fairy-tale characters in the New Year's photo zone.

Dog sledding 500 meters is possible for an additional fee (payment is made on site).

Next, we will make a stop in a picturesque place near the Ruskeala waterfalls. The filming of the cult Soviet film "And the dawns here are quiet" took place here. Now it is a great place for walks and photo shoots in nature.

Optional and for an additional fee, a walk along the ecotrope with suspension bridges over waterfalls.

Guided tour in the Ruskeala Mountain Park (30 km from Sortavala). It is the most visited tourist site in Karelia at the moment. Since the 17th century, marble has been mined here for 300 years to decorate palaces and temples in the Northern Capital.

A marble lake was formed in a huge man-made bowl, which is now admired by numerous tourists. In winter, it sleeps under an ice blanket.

The rock grotto and tunnels carved in marble will make an indelible impression on you. There are no analogues to this unique natural object either in Russia or in Europe!

After dark, the artistic lighting in the mountain park turns on (starting at about 16:00).

In your free time (for an additional fee), you can ride over Lake Marmara on a zip-line trolley, eat in the cafe of the mountain park, and buy souvenirs.

Additional services on the territory of the mountain park are purchased directly on the spot, at the ticket offices of the mountain park, and cannot be booked in advance.

Those who wish can leave the mountain park by the Ruskealsky Express retro train at 17:00 (tickets are not included in the price of the tour).

Return to Sortavala.

Departure with a guide to Petrozavodsk (about 250 km drive).

On the way, we will stop in the Karelian village of Kindasovo, where the program "Village fun or Kindasa New Year!" awaits you. Karelian culture and peculiar Kindasa humor are combined here in a unique way. Since the 19th century, there have been tales and jokes about the villagers. By coming here, you can become a real Kindasian and even speak Karelian.

You will be treated to traditional Karelian pies and fragrant tea with herbs! You will hear the enchanting sounds of national instruments: kantele and jowhikko, find out what a yaga is, why Karel needs a big house and who is in charge of the village. In this place, even adults have fun like children!

Late lunch.

Getting to know the city of Petrozavodsk, the capital of the Republic of Karelia. You will see the historical center, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Governor's Park and, of course, the monument to Peter I— the founder of Petrozavodsk.

The tour ends at the Petrozavodsk railway station.

The program ends at 19:00, for those who leave earlier, until 17:00 (without a sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk).

Before the train departs, you will still have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and stroll through the festive streets of the city.
