We invite you to visit the Polar Explorer's House and get acquainted with the history of Arctic exploration and modern Arctic travel.

Come with us to the eco-complex, where more than 80 sled dogs of 3 breeds live, which help to explore the territories of the far north.

You will be able to get acquainted with the legendary dogs of Arctic expeditions, take a ride through the Karelian taiga on dog sleds and have lunch by candlelight in a cozy fireplace room. Feel the silence, balance and peace.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know the eco-complex. Excursion to the nursery. Dog sledding
Arrival in Petrozavodsk.
Transfer from Petrozavodsk to the eco-complex (30 km from Petrozavodsk — 45 minutes on the way).
Getting to know the eco-complex.
Breakfast.
Excursion to the pearl of the eco-complex — kennel — acquaintance with Arctic expedition sled dogs.
Dog sledding 2 km.
Lunch at the Polar Explorer's House.
Rest time, free time to order additional workshops and seasonal activities (sledding/snowmobiling/walking with pets, etc.).
Creative evening.
Dinner by the fireplace in the Polar Explorer's House.

Day 3 - Master classes. Free time. The threshold of the Big Tolly
Breakfast.
A master class on knitting a harness.
Rest time, free time to order additional workshops and seasonal activities (sledding/snowmobiling/walking with pets, etc.).
Optional — a walk to the threshold of the Big Tolly — the most picturesque threshold in South Shuya.
A master class by the campfire with the preparation of lohikato — Karelian ear of red fish on cream + a samovar on cones with gates.
Free time, board games.

Day 4 - The Epic of Kalevala tour in Petrozavodsk
Breakfast.
Free time before lunch at the eco-complex.
Lunch at the Polar Explorer's House.
Transfer to the city of Petrozavodsk.
Excursion "Epic of Kalevala" (art museum in Petrozavodsk) — the main epic of Karelia, the philosophy of the Karelian people.
Free time before departure, an independent walk around Petrozavodsk, the embankment of Lake Onega, time to visit souvenir shops.

The tour provides accommodation at camp sites.

The cost of the tour for 1 person:

adult — 28,800 rubles.;
a child from 5 to 12 years old — 20,900 rubles.

The house has 6 rooms: double, quadruple, the rest are triple, two bathrooms and a shower cabin. Usually, guests who do not cook themselves, but prefer to eat from the kitchen, move in here. The administration of the tourist complex and the cabin company are located here - a cozy fireplace room with a large TV and Wi-Fi.
