Sightseeing city tour "From the history of Petrozavodsk" with a walk along the famous Onega embankment. You will find an interesting immersion in the history of the city from the reign of Peter the Great to the present day.
You will learn how Petrozavodsk was founded and even see the places at the mouth of the Lososinka River, where Petrovskaya Sloboda originated.
With his fascinating story, the guide will take you back to the time of the Petrovsky Factory construction. You will stroll through the beautiful old squares and avenues, take a lot of photos at art objects and monuments in the open-air "museum" on the famous Onega Embankment.
Transfer to the passenger port.
A trip along Lake Onega by meteor to Kizhi Island (1 hour and 15 minutes).
You will see a unique monument of northern Russian architecture, the 22nd main Transfiguration Cathedral, visit the magnificent Pokrovskaya Church and make a wish at the Lazarus of Murom Church, built back in the 14th century.
The ethnographic expositions of the open-air museum will introduce you to the way of life and traditions of the inhabitants of Karelia. The tour program also includes a visit to the tent bell tower of the Kizhi churchyard, the Transfiguration Church, and the chapel of the Archangel Michael.
