Day 1 - Petrozavodsk. The shungite center. Additional excursions
Upon arrival of train No. 18, a meeting with the guide at the railway station under the spire from the platform, a sign "Legends of Karelia".
Breakfast in a cafe in the city.
Bus sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk.
Walking tour of the unique open-air Museum of Modern Art (sculpture exhibition on the embankment of Lake Onega).
During the tour, you will get acquainted with the history of the city, as well as its modern appearance.
A visit to the shungite center, you will get acquainted with the mysterious mineral, you will visit the shungite relaxation room, after which we will treat you to Karelian ivan tea.
Lunch at a cafe in the city.

During the off-season (with accompanying weather conditions):
Husky trekking. A walk with friendly huskies along a prepared trail in a pine forest + tea party with pastries. The duration, including the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 3 hours. Children under 6 years old cannot participate in trekking (not to keep dogs). The cost is 3900 rubles/person; children from 6 to 13 years old — 3150 rubles/person.
ATV riding in the countryside with an experienced instructor. The duration, including the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 3 hours. Cost: 4,600 rubles/person. when boarding 2 people on an ATV, 6100 rubles /person. when boarding 1 person on an ATV.
In winter (with sufficient snow cover):
Dog sledding as a passenger or on your own through the winter forest 2 km + lunch with Karelian cuisine. The duration, taking into account the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 5 hours. Cost: adult — 7,600 rubles/person, children under 12 years old — 5,100 rubles/person.
Snowmobiling in winter along a prepared forest track. The duration, including the transfer from Petrozavodsk, is 3 hours. Cost: 4800 rubles/person. when boarding 2 people on a snowmobile, 7000 rubles/person. when boarding 1 person on a snowmobile.

Day 2 - Ethnic trip to the Karelian village
Buffet breakfast in the cafe of the hotel.
Departure to the amazing Karelian village of Kindasovo, the first mention of which is recorded in the books of 1496.
The main local population is a nation with a cute name "Karelian people".
The village stands on the banks of the beautiful Shuya River.
After the tour of the village, you will have a master class on playing traditional Karelian shepherd musical instruments (torvi, pili).
Everyone will be warmed by branded Kindasa tea brewed in the purest spring water with Karelian herbs, and Karelian pies.
Return to Petrozavodsk.
The duration of the tour is about 5 hours.

Day 3 - Mount Sampo. Marcial Waters. Girvas volcano. Kivach Nature Reserve
Buffet breakfast in the cafe of the hotel.
Departure for a country tour "Sampo Mountain — Marcial Waters — Girvas Volcano — Kivach Waterfall".
Visit to the Sampo mountain.
Mount Sampo in Karelia is considered a place of power and impresses with its beauty.
Sampo Mountain is small in height, it is not difficult to climb, and the view from the top is amazing.
An excursion to the first Russian resort "Marcial Waters" is a unique opportunity to taste healing water from 3 springs known since the time of Peter I.
Inspection of the Church of St. Peter the Apostle (1721).
Visit the ancient Girvas volcano.
Fortunately, the volcano is no longer active, but we can see frozen lava, volcanic rocks and amazing landscapes.
Stop for lunch at a cafe on the way for an additional fee.
Moving to the Kivach Nature Reserve is the oldest in Russia and the first in Karelia.
During the tour of the reserve you will see the most famous waterfall of Karelia — Kivach, the Museum of nature and the arboretum of the famous Karelian birch.
Return to Petrozavodsk.
The duration of the tour is about 7 hours.

Day 4 - Ahinkoski Waterfalls. Ruskeala
Buffet breakfast in the cafe of the hotel.
Departure to the most beautiful corner of Karelia — Ladoga region (260 km, approximately 4 hours on the way).
On the way, stop at the Ahinkoski waterfalls, the place where the footage of the film "And the dawns are quiet here ..." was shot.
Arrival at Ruskeala Mountain Park, land tour of the park.
A monument of industrial culture (mining) of the late XVIII- early XX century. There is no such monument in Europe, which is a man-made bowl in a solid array of marbles, cut through by a system of mines, tunnels and shafts.
From here, blocks were obtained for the cladding of many architectural creations of St. Petersburg, including the majestic St. Isaac's Cathedral. There are a number of observation decks along the perimeter of the canyon.
It is notable for the fact that it is laid out entirely of marble. Even in winter, the marble canyon of Ruskeala will delight with bright colors.
Free time in the park, about 1-2 hours.
After the tour ends, you have a unique opportunity to take a retro train to the city of Sortavala.
Arrival in Sortavala.
Dinner at a cafe in the city.

Day 5 - Sortavala. The Museum of the Northern Ladoga Region. Filina Mountain Bunker Museum
Breakfast in the hotel cafe.
Room release, check-out with things.
Sightseeing tour of the ancient city of Sortavala, the capital of the Northern Ladoga region.
You will see one of the most beautiful cities of modern Karelia.
Visit to the museum of the Northern Ladoga Region, the exhibition of the unique woodcarver Kronid Gogolev.
Visit Mount Paaso, a 10th—12th century Karelian settlement discovered by Finnish archaeologist Otto Appelgren.
You will admire the fantastic panoramas and find out why the ancient Karelians settled on the highest cliffs
Lunch at a cafe in the city.
Departure to the underground bunker museum "Filina Mountain" is a unique man-made headquarters of the Finnish army, made in a rock.
In addition to the bunker itself and the museum in it, you will see a park of military equipment.
Return to the city of Sortavala.
Transfer to the Sortavala railway station to train No. 160.
