Day 1 - A tour of Petrozavodsk. Shungite Center
Meeting in Petrozavodsk at the railway station at car No. 9 of train No. 18 Moscow — Petrozavodsk.
Breakfast in a cafe in the city.
Sightseeing tour of Petrozavodsk.
We invite you to plunge into the friendly atmosphere of the northern city — the capital of Karelia — the city of Petrozavodsk.
On the sightseeing tour you will see the beautiful embankment of Lake Onega, where you will find the "Tree of Desires" and other avant-garde sculptures donated to the city by the twin cities.
A journey into the world of the mysterious stone — shungite.
Visit the shungite center, where you can buy figurines, cosmetics, jewelry made of shungite at wholesale prices.
As well as a visit to the relaxation room filled with the vitality of shungite.
Natural black stone is a real miracle.

A trip here is ideal for exploring the amazing northern region. On the tour you will learn a lot of interesting things, the history of the charming region is shrouded in numerous legends.

A visit to the Ruskeala Mountain Park.
The park was created in 2005 on the basis of a unique monument of the industrial heritage of Russia, the Ruskeala marble quarry.
Marble mining was started here in 1769 by decree of Catherine II to decorate the famous buildings of St. Petersburg: the Marble Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Mariinsky Palace, etc.

The combination of Karelian nature and human activity has given these quarries a surprisingly picturesque appearance, which attracts travel enthusiasts not only from Karelia.
On the way, stop at the Ruskeala waterfall Ahvenkoski.
Translated from the Finnish language, "Perch threshold".
Locals sometimes call it the "waterfall at three bridges".
The bathing scene of one of the heroines of the film "And the dawns are quiet here" was filmed at this waterfall.
Amazingly picturesque nature invariably attracts the creators of modern films with its mysterious beauty and some mysterious power.
In 2010, a fantasy film "The Dark World" was shot here (the entrance fee is paid additionally on site — 450 rubles).

Day 3 - The resort "Marcial waters". Girvas volcano. Kivach Waterfall

A trip to the first Russian Resort "Marcial Waters", founded by Peter the Great in 1719. Visit to the Church of St. Peter the Apostle (1721), tasting water from famous natural springs.

Another attraction of the Republic of Karelia that cannot be ignored is the ancient Girvas volcano.
If you are lucky enough to visit it at the moment when the floodgates of the dam are open, you can see with your own eyes a fascinating sight — a huge waterfall, much larger than Kivacha.
Actually, Girvas was a waterfall before the construction of the hydroelectric power station.
The stormy foaming stream rushing down from a great height will make an indelible impression on everyone who is lucky enough to see it with their own eyes.

Scientists are undoubtedly confident that this is the oldest surviving crater on earth.
According to some sources, it is 2 billion years old, according to others — at least 3 billion years old...
Lunch at the cafe is on the way.
Visit Kivach Waterfall, one of the largest flat waterfalls in Europe.
You will also visit the Museum of Nature and the arboretum, the decoration and pride of which are the famous Karelian birches.
Transfer to Petrozavodsk railway station approximately by 17:30.
