Depending on the water level, the danger of the rapids varies. The instructor has the right to make a decision on the removal of dangerous areas, not to let unprepared or drunk participants into the threshold. Participants always wear life jackets on the water, and they wear helmets when crossing the rapids. When passing the thresholds, insurance is provided from the water or from the shore.

There is a strong solar reflection on the water, so it is necessary to use sunglasses, sunscreen and cover the exposed areas of the body and head.

In case of minor injuries, the guide has a first-aid kit.

It is advisable to have a tick-borne encephalitis vaccine, tick bite insurance, or appropriate iodantipyrine tablets, as well as a personal first-aid kit. No one knows better than you about your state of health, therefore, if there are individual deviations in your state of health, be sure to warn the guide about this, and if you are aware of signs of malaise or illness, contact the guide immediately. Confidentiality is guaranteed at the same time.

• do not build bonfires in unintended places.;
• when swimming in reservoirs, do not jump into the water from unsuitable structures and do not dive in places with unknown depth and bottom condition.;
• do not swim far from the shore — the water in the lakes of Karelia is cold, which can be dangerous;
• be prepared for extreme weather changes and "non-standard" situations.;
• Take with you the insect repellents that are suitable for you personally.;
• being attentive to those who take part in the tour, we ask you not to smoke in any of our vehicles (raft, catamaran) and transport, as well as near the campfire. Smoking facilities are provided during leisure time.

Karelia is a land of wild nature. Endless taiga, blue lakes and rivers, majestic cliffs, rich flora and fauna. To avoid the danger lurking in the Karelian taiga, we ask you to follow the following rules:

To protect yourself from ticks: 

• it is necessary to prepare clothes: tightly fasten the collar and cuffs of the sleeves, tuck the shirt into the trousers, tuck the legs of the trousers into tight socks. Be sure to wear a headdress (cap, headscarf, etc.). The best shoes for the forest are boots;
• You can not wear short trousers, shorts, slippers, or a short-sleeved shirt in the forest.;
• clothes must be treated with repellents.;
• after every 2-3 hours in the forest, it is necessary to inspect clothes and exposed body parts (ticks take a long time to find a suitable place to bite). The head, neck, and folds of clothing are especially carefully examined.; 
• in case of tick sucking, do not remove it yourself, but contact the instructor accompanying the group on the route or a medical facility.

To avoid snake bite: 

• look carefully at your feet so as not to step on a snake (a snake never attacks first);
• It is recommended to walk in boots in tall grass, in swamps, on stone placers, on dead wood;
• do not sit on fallen trees, stumps, etc. without first examining them.;
• When you see a snake, walk around it rather than trying to kill or chase it away.;
• In case of a snake bite, contact the instructor accompanying the group on the route or a medical facility.

To avoid poisoning:

• do not eat unfamiliar mushrooms, berries, plants, etc.;
• river and lake fish must be thermally treated (boiled or fried) for at least 30 minutes;
• despite the purity of Karelian reservoirs, it is not recommended to drink raw water from rivers, swamps, streams, etc.

Meals according to the program. 

Sometimes, based on the conditions of the route, lunch can be replaced with a snack. 

The instructor prepares the food, the help of tourists is not prohibited. 

The menu includes fresh vegetables, soups, porridges, pasta, buckwheat, rice, potatoes, semi-smoked sausage, cheese, meat (stew), mayonnaise, ketchup, tomato paste, tea, coffee, condensed milk, butter, sugar, dried fruits, gingerbread, cookies, sweets, bread, mineral water.

Please note: alcoholic beverages and snacks are not provided. Guests usually worry about this themselves in advance.

Rafting equipment:

The Timetrial is a special 10-12—seat inflatable boat for rafting in rough water. It has high safety due to the high rigidity of the multi-section housing made of PVC materials.

Catamaran (Raftmaster) Fox-600 is a six—seat collapsible tourist vessel for traveling on rivers of any complexity category. In this catamaran, the compromise of most modern requirements for hiking catamarans is laid down and tested in practice. It is suitable for both water tourists with the highest degree of pretension, and for novice tourists.

Kayak (Stream) "Khatanga-2 SPORT", "Khatanga-2 Extreme" is an inflatable kayak for rafting 2 people. It has high stability and good handling in rapids, suitable for beginners. Made of durable PVC materials.

Paddles, life jackets, safety caps, hard hats, and pressure packs are proven, user-friendly equipment.

Camp equipment:

Tents — three- and four-person, Tramp company. The required number of thermal insulation mats is provided for the tent.

Sleeping bags — the temperature regime is optimal for the time of the tour. If you are taking a personal sleeping bag, you should notify the company in advance.

Boilers, trays and other cooking utensils are provided.

The climate in Karelia is temperate continental. The summer is cool, but prolonged heat is possible. The weather changes frequently, with thunderstorms and heavy rains. The water in rivers and lakes warms up in late June and July to 18-20 degrees C. White nights last until the middle of summer.

The route schedule and parking spots can be adjusted on the spot depending on the weather and the condition of the group. Making a decision on passing or demolishing thresholds of 3-4 k.s. depends on the water level and the readiness of the group.
