Itinerary

Day 1 - Traveling with Northern sled dogs
Transfer from Petrozavodsk to the eco—complex (30 km from Petrozavodsk - 45 min journey).
Breakfast.
Briefing, introduction of participants, safety instructions.
Acquaintance with the expedition dogs of the eco-complex (huskies, Malamutes, Chukchi sled dogs), excursion.
Dog care + selection of trekking equipment (an activity with elements of canis therapy).
A master class by the campfire with the preparation of lohikato — Karelian ear of red fish on cream + a samovar on cones with gates.
Trekking for 2 hours in tandem with dogs along forest paths, including to the threshold of the Big Tolly.
Dinner at the Polar Explorer's House with tasting of Karelian berry infusions.

Day 2 - Water trip
Breakfast.
Equipment selection, briefing, safety instructions.
Transfer to the place of rafting.
Rafting on the Shuya River.
At the equator of the journey, we stop at the shore.
Picnic in nature by the campfire with cooking lunch on a "live fire".
We finish after passing the threshold of the Big Toll — if desired, you can ride 2-3 times along the threshold with different options for entering the threshold.
Dinner at the Polar Explorer's House.

Day 3 - The way to Vottovaara: Girvas volcano, Marcial Waters resort, Sampo Mountain, 1000 Hares Valley
Breakfast at the Polar Explorer's House.
Briefing, description of the route.
Off-road driving along the route to the foot of Vottovaara Mountain (250 km) with a picnic on the way along the way.
Along the route we visit the extinct volcano Girvas, the first Russian resort "Marcial Waters", Mount Sampo and the Valley of 1000 hares.
We are staying in a field camp in tents.
Dinner and evening by the campfire + "Legends of Vottovaara".
Overnight in a tent.

Day 4 - Climbing Vottovaara and the way home, Kivach Waterfall
Breakfast, safety briefing.
Ascent to the town of Vottovaara and inspection of the seids.
Descent from the mountain and lunch.
We return to the Polar Explorer's House (250 km).
Along the route we visit the Kivach waterfall.
If the weather is good, we stop and swim in the lake.
A gala dinner at the Polar Explorer's House.
Presentation of certificates.
Transfer to Petrozavodsk.
We return from Vottovaara at about 18:00-19:00. We recommend taking return tickets for departures after 21:00 in order to make sure, since it is difficult to predict the time for the return trip from the mountain by the minute.

The tour includes accommodation in guest houses (2 nights) and in a tent (1 night).

The cost of the tour:
