It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Tour participants must have:

  • an identity document placed in an airtight package, for tourists traveling with children, a birth certificate of children is required;
  • Compulsory medical insurance POLICY;
  • do not forget to take with you the medicines that you take all the time, and those that you may need;
  • To visit monasteries and temples, women will need a headscarf and a skirt below the knee, and men will need long trousers. Shoes for the trip should be comfortable;
  • The islands of Kizhi, Valaam, Solovki, and the Ruskeala Mountain Park are located at great distances from each other. Therefore, tour programs that include visits to at least 2 of these facilities contain long journeys + early ascents on some days. The company does everything possible to make travel as comfortable as possible for tourists: travel information, stops at interesting places along the way, sanitary stops, screening of feature films or documentaries;
  • Please note that in the summer, especially in early June, temperature differences from +30 to +10 are possible. Therefore, take care in advance of warm clothes, windbreakers, hats and comfortable, familiar, worn shoes, because you will have to spend a lot of time on your feet;
  • also, in advance, while on the route in Petrozavodsk, take care of purchasing drinking water for the road and, if necessary, a snack. There are not always shops on the routes between cities and sightseeing sites;
  • weather conditions can make their own adjustments to our excursion programs. In case of a strong storm on the White Sea or on the Onega or Ladoga Lakes (storms on which are sometimes no weaker than at sea), ships are prohibited from leaving the port. We can't take any chances. In this case, excursions that depend on moving by water will be replaced by activities of equivalent price. This happens very rarely, but tourists should be warned.
