An extensive exposition on the world history of cheese making is presented in an ancient merchant's mansion of the late XVIII century (Reschikov house). 

We will learn about cheese tales and traditions of different peoples, cheese records and the most unusual varieties, have fun on an interactive tour.

14:00 Interactive program "Snow Maiden adventures" in the Kostroma settlement.

The architectural, ethnographic and landscape museum-reserve outside the walls of the Ipatievsky Monastery is one of the most popular and vibrant places of the Golden Ring of Russia, an open-air museum of wooden architecture. 

In her room, the Snow Maiden treats everyone to tea with gingerbread.

16:00 Museum "Miracle Forest".

At the entrance to this fabulous "Fairy Tale House" you will be greeted by a friendly "Bear Bear", offering to plunge into the land of magic and mysterious adventures of the museum "Miracle Forest".

11:00 Thematic excursion "Where moose live" to the Sumarokovsky moose sanctuary.

Not far from Kostroma, the Sumarokovskaya moose farm is located in a picturesque place. 

No cages — you will be amazed at the friendly atmosphere of the reserve, you will see how the animals are taken care of. 

Treat the growing moose calves with carrots and even be able to pet and take pictures with the most curious. 

You will have a close conversation not only with moose and moose calves, but also with the farm staff. They will tell a lot of amazing facts: how and why moose come to this farm, which moose is the most beautiful for a male, why all moose calves here have a human mother, whom they recognize even when they grow up, and why it is impossible to tame an elk.

You will get acquainted with the Christmas rituals and customs of the XIX century, and also learn exactly how this bright holiday was celebrated in Kostroma two centuries ago. 

Under the strict guidance of the hostess of the manor and her assistants, you will make toys yourself and decorate the Christmas tree in the style of the XIX century (at the end of the program you will be able to pick up the made toys as a souvenir).
